Good chance for Lallana.
that was a really good chance when you see it from behind the goal

We've looked good going forward so far - just lacking a finish.

England have the beating of this team. Chances coming already. They just need to keep their concentration at the back.

I know it's frustrating to miss, and this might be least of the things a player thinks about, but I wish Alli would watch his mouth, as surely kids are watching and need to set an example in an England shirt.
All players swear.

Good start from England. They look fired up.

Even Rooney is playing well in midfield.

England being given lots of space to run into by the Russian midfielders.

Their defence doesn't look too disciplined either.

I doubt he's thinking about the kiddies when he's on the pitch.

Good leap from Smalling and a good start overall from England. Need to make it count.

We've started well but the Russians like the Slovaks earlier will have their moments.

Russia wide open at the back. This is for the taking.

Great ball from Rooney - the midfield roll looks like it's working for him so far.

I think Sterlings pace is going to cause trouble for the Russian full backs

Wonder if Tim Peake is watching up there with his Russian comrades!

Concentrate England; you're clearly better than Russia but there's no point giving away needless set pieces.

Poor marking at the back

I can't see us keeping a clean sheet so we may need to score at least 2
