We've got Sterling and Lallana on the pitch - I'm sure they can take corners.

Watch Russia go and score with their 5% possession.

It's not a great Russian side which is why we hardly know any of their players but they can still be useful when they get their act together.

I think the lack of oxygen would be a bit more pressing.

Glenn Hoddle just said this is the best performance since we played Germany

What you mean when we won the World Cup

Our set piece play has been something of a let down tonight. From open play we've looked really good.

Sterling has been dreadful. Loose touch, and not taking chances.

The longer it's 0-0, Russia may fancy their chances of scoring........

They'll hoof it up field and Hart will fumble it into the net for them

We are playing very well so far, but we haven't really tested their keeper yet.

Why isn't Vardy on? We clearly need a good finisher on as even Kane can't hit the target.

There is one thing England are good at

Being offside

Half time and we haven't made our chances count. With the Welsh victory earlier we cannot afford to drop points here.

Good half from England, well on top. Just need to get that goal.

England the better team but not enough cutting edge or clinical finishing. A lot of half chances.

Or test their keeper with a shot that wasn't straight at him.

Really? I think he's been playing fine, working well with Rose. I think the biggest letdown has been Kane; hasn't imposed on himself on the game and his corners are woeful. Lallana's finishing has been suspect but he's done well otherwise.

The Russkies will consider that a decent half. They survived the worst we could throw at them. They'll have a go next half. Can see it being 1-0 Russia.
