I don't really see anything wrong with her face? Is this a new thing? Face-shaming?

Emma is a beautiful woman and has done marvellously to get back to BB so quick after giving birth. Inspiring.

She is not beautiful she looks weird and even worse now. Don't think it is anything to do with having a baby she has had something done to her face. When she first appeared at the launch night I thought it was someone else pretending to be her as a Big Bro joke she looked so different and horrid”

Exactly what I thought nothing to do with her being fat or anything as the people calling others shallow idiots and assuming we are on about her baby weight etc are thinking.
If anything they are the ones that are shallow pushing that idea through!

Blimey, if there's "something wrong" with Emma Willis looks and body I'm never going near a mirror again ...

Jeez first it was down to her just having a baby now it's her age.

NO HER FACE LOOKS WEIRD! Not chubby weird it looks like cosmetic surgery weird.

I started this thread and I have to admit I've found some of the responses rather amusing and revealing.

It really demonstrates that people read what they want to hear, not what was actually said.

As Heyyouoverthere rightly confirms, Emma's face has changed. It looks odd. It almost looks like she's recovering from an injury. It looks swollen and misshapen. Her current hair-cut accentuates this.

Not being a complete TV gossip obsessive, I don't read the tabloids or Hello or any of that so I no idea she'd had a baby. I'm not sure that knowledge would have helped me. I was talking about her face, not her body.

I also made clear that historically I've always thought that she's strikingly beautiful, which is why whatevers going on with her face seemed so obvious to me. And why I asked about it.

But some posters have decided to hijack the thread and turn it into to some feminist diatribe about how men shame pregnant women.

Not a bit of it. A formerly very beautiful woman has something weird going on with her face. Others have clearly noticed it, too. Doesn't mean she's not a lovely person, wonderful woman and top drawer tv presenter. Or that she's no longer more beautiful than 99% of the population and the entire cast of BB.

I dont find anything especially weird about Emmas face but ive never subscribed to the opinion thats she some kind of beauty. For me she isnt beautiful in the classical beauftiful sexy woman sense. I feel alot of those championing her beauty are women and similar people whos appraisal of beauty isnt that of a stereotypical male assesment (like mine) and succeed in seeing some other kind of beauty in her face - and all credit to them for doing so.

That's hilarious. Because you are a man and didnt see fit to deem her sexy in your 'stereotypical male assessment' then all [or rather, most re: your post] the people who do think she's beautiful must be women?

Thank god we're not all the same. I happen to think Emma is extremely beautiful. Hate to break it to you OP, but you don't voice the sole opinion of all the men in the viewing audience.

And yes, I know you said 'a lot' not all.

Or, alternatively, some of us just happen to have a different opinion to that of yourself?

She does that too. This is her part time job for her 'pin money',

It was a good question, not mean or sexist in context. Ignore the confused.

But Matt Willis is a male. And I'm guessing he might disagree with you....

I don't like her hair pulled back off her face, but then that's just a personal preference. I find it too harsh for a round face.

She has my greatest admiration for getting back to work after so little time has passed.

There have been comments about her seeming less enthused or 'into' BB than she used to be - I would say the fact that she's back at work rather than taking her maternity leave indicates she's enthused enough!”

Is it any wonder that she isn't enthusiastic about this series? She has to go on reading lines about this shambles of a programme as if everything were fine

When she came on for the fake eviction, I thought she looked unwell, and has aged a lot. The way her hair was brushed well back as if she didn't want it to be seen made her look older than my MIL. She has a nice face and is always well turned out, but felt the hair let her down. Although she probably liked it that way.

I think she's lovely too, the only fault I have with her and obviously we're all far from perfect is her voice, when she shouts I tend to turn her down a bit.

ROFL

I'm quite sure she'll have watched the play back and thought to herself 'what on earth was I thinking?'

Every so often she throws in a bit of an experimental outfit/hairstyle - more often than not she still looks great. Really didn't like the Friday look though.

I'm sure she'll look quite lovely as she usually does when she's next on TV.

well I can't , thats why I phrased it as a question . but my other point was more about people in general , women do seem to be more critical of other women on issues of weight , and look at all those chat magazines which are bought by women which are obsessed with every type of body / weight problem .
