Hall pass or not, Marco is allegedly engaged and Laura knows it. Despite that, she's perfectly happy to get off with him.
Men and women are judged by different standards. Marco's behaviour will not harm him at all. Laura's will. She should have seen beyond her horniness and thought about how the opportunity of BB could help her make something of her life. (Admittedly a tough job. How many BB housemates have really used it as a springboard to success?)”
I don't think Laura wants success - she wants money.
She's made a decision based on cold, hard logic - that getting it on with Marco will give her an income stream for a couple of years if she plays it right. Marco is clearly after a media career - and with his father's name and money behind him he's unlikely to fail... so Laura will just ride on his coattails, flogging interviews wherever she can as a result of Macro popping up in the press.
The pairing I'm really interested in is Laura and Andrew - they can both put their emotions to one-side and concentrate on their goal...
