Why are the England fans causing trouble at these Euros. It seems every tournament some idiots start to cause trouble and they always seem to be England fans. I hope the French police arrest those fans and jail them and then ban them from England matches for life

It is so obviously not just England fans.

It's amazing how easily some people are brainwashed by the elitist media.

correct, they have to have someone else to fight with.

They are fighting the locals, now they are fighting the russians

the correct questions would be, why are tey getting into fights in the same time, the same place every day?

They expect and want it.

"Elitist media" like the BBC who described it as "Russian hooligans taking on England supporters"?

Exactly, innocent fans coming under attack from yobs don't normally start hurling bottles and chairs back at their attackers and getting into pitched battles. Anyone normal would simply run away from the disturbances.

The blame has well and truly been laid at the door of the England fans. You can't seriously have missed that.

I think the English, French and Russians involved are all idiots. Video footage suggests a lot of instigation from the Russians.

No one group is wholly responsible for this.

I have a mate in Marseille and he is saying that a lot of the people instigating the trouble with police have very French or Slavic accents while wearing England tops. Marseille is one of the worst places in Europe for gang violence.

I just put on the other thread a tweet from Henry Winter.

According to him UEFA have already told all authorities that they are responsible for their fan's behaviour. A warning of teams being expelled is hanging over everyone, so maybe their will be action after this. For the sake of the game I hope so, as this has gone on for long enough.

Let me explain your logic

A walks down the street and fights B

A walks down another street and fights C

A walks down another street and fights D

Are you seriously suggesting that its not just A causing trouble, as BCD are fighting too?

Bizarre.

I think it was Euro '96 when the BBC sent a documentary team to France to cover 'football violence'. Now think very carefully about this but what would have happened if there hadn't been any 'football violence'?

It's raining round our way so it's likely there wont be any trouble with the 'fans' that have been in the pub all day.
Last tournament, when England got knocked out there was loads of cars with their windows smashed
