I also cheer on the other home nations, like Wales, Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland and if Scotland qualified I would the same them too if they play England it's slightly different admittedly.

Yes, me too. Of course I want England to beat the other home nations but if england go out then I will be cheering for Wales and the 2 Irish teams.

So fighting in Lille already I see. Russians going for England and Wakes fans. There will have to be expulsions now or UEFA will lose any credibility they have left!

Probably too concerned about receiving plutonium parcels at head office if they go down that route.

They're the football equivalent of Geordie Shore, i.e who cares what people think about us.

Edit both Russia and UEFA.

Bit harsh to blame England fans for the unpredictable nature of group F though.

I'm heading out tomorrow. I'd fight weasels in the back room of an East end boozer with a drink inside me. They should be worried!

Ehhhh, Is India or Sudan a home nation ? I think you will find the Republic of Ireland is just as politically independent of Bighty as those two countries.
So less of the home nations bullcrap and trying to steal Irish sporting success when one of our teams or sports men or women do well.

When England conceded late against the Russians, Ireland fans in Paris were in hysterics, just something we can't help.

Maybe I should have said I'm happy to support Republic of Ireland as if they are a home nation because they are a close neighbour, as a true fan of this little sport called football.

Then if you fall flat on your noses can I be excused for having a mini fist pump in your honour?

It was excellent. Great atmosphere too, Iceland's fans are superb, if slightly nuts! They reckon about 10% of their country's population were in Saint Etienne yesterday. Lots of English and Germans about as well. Got the train back to Lyon last night to find that the place has been swamped with Northern Ireland fans ahead of their game tomorrow.

Awesome. The majority of the atmospheres have been great in the stadiums it seems.

Hopefully the troubles will die down now with this threat hanging over the sides, and with increased security.
