I don't really understand the obsession with her not working.
she's an actress with no work on at the moment...but she will have money from when she was earning.
there's hundreds of actors and actresses all over the country who aren't currently 'working' but they're not all signing on and claiming benefits!

also she is pregnant so any upcoming productions will be limited anyway.

She was the one saying she turn down work to accompany(stalk) JiM to his PAs. Now that she's not with him anymore, where's the work offers. I see nothing coming her way except for Kelly food, flowers, videos, D***y, her happiness she's always tweeting about and free rides to Mac D and baby stores.

And no patches or AA meetings needed.

Mind you there is the DS lunatic section for those highly addicted members that have gone batshit crazzzzy

it's irrelevant how much work she turned down before... the point is maybe now she's pregnant she doesn't WANT to.

if she's financially OK, there's no reason why she has to until after the baby's born etc.

she'll be self-employed so she can get probably £50 a week while looking for work,she has no rent, unless she'll claim for rent she pays to mommy

Bars,cafes, theatre, retail, anything they can get , with sympathetic employers who let them have time off for auditions. SAD will have trouble if she's upduffed but she could do catalogue stuff and voice overs , if she was even in the running for that work. She'd think that was below her though.

she'd still have to cover her N Ins contributions,she can't do nothing, she's bound to be claiming something to cover that. She hasn't wanted to work since February early this year, she did a few photo shoots and that was all,then went awol with Jimbob, it's been a mess for months.

you are forgetting she was a top character in a soap for 5 years. she will have savings and earnings from then too.
it's OK saying most work in bars cafes etc.
but if she doesn't need to I can understand why she won't. until after the birth.
I wouldnt if I was pregnant and didn't need to work!

I haven't forgotten mellon obvs we know all that about HO . But the money won't last forever even if she's got some savings .

I didn't say that SAD should work in a bar or cafe , i said most actors do work in between jobs , obviously if she doesn't need to right now, she won't and she isn't , she's doing what she's done all year SWEET F.A.

She's had no acting work since Hollyoiks and she left that with a very tarnished reputation anyway for her behaviour , that would have blacklisted her for a while. She got CBB, which is where actors who can't get work often end up doing the reality route.

Her problem is that she couldn't find work when she needed it, she had the opportunity to change casting directors mind on her work ethic, she didn't, another year out of work will not help her.

She may have money for now, but it will not be be everlasting. Children are very expensive, it's a lifetime commitment not a five minute wonder like most of her fads.

She might get ex on the beach after the 'pregnancy'.

Remember what she criticised SAMMY about ? She said he didn't take her to top fancy restaurants. She talks and dresses a bit chavvy but she loves to spend money

I heard of actors being waiters, barmen, cleaners etc. when they were 'resting' but she seems to be 'resting' a lot longer than most.

I doubt she was earning that much TBF. When Ryan Thomas (Jason in Coronation St) declared bankruptcy last year, it was revealed that he earned £90k a year. That was for Coronation Street which likely pays better than Hollyoaks. He had also been in the role for 16 years, SaD was only in Hollyoaks for 5 years. Whilst she probably was on a comfortable wage, it's not millions and our doll likes to shop. I was between contracts for a while and it's amazing just how quickly your savings dissipate when you don't have a monthly salary coming in!
