The original point of BB was complete isolation of the housemates from the outside world. These days, they come and go, as they like! If you go out the fire escape, that should be it. You should get no tweets or visitors from the outside world, and Emma should be in a closed studio during evictions, this way the contestants have no idea how they are coming across. I would only allow influence in the last few weeks, by then it's too late to correct yourself based on the public's perception of you.
