The players were awful, bad passing, defence was rubbish , it's not just the tactics by the Manager . Even Scotland probably could have beat them last night

It always annoys me when the fans blame the manager! The second half, they couldn't kick the ball to each other if their lives depended on it, it was purely down to their poor playing.

I know practically zero about football but here's my take.....

A few months back Rooney was injured and didn't play in 'friendlies' , England won games against some good teams, they played as a team. Rooney comes back and the team gets very lack lustre and don't in my opinion play as a team, they are more like a group of individuals going out to have a Sunday kickabout. Hodgson should of just picked the Leicester team as they would have been proud to represent their country (ok if there are foreign players in that team they would have to be replaced....I understand that) and the money they would have been paid would have been an added bonus.

As for the politics, I don't discuss that brings about too many arguments but IMO it will all come out in the wash, at least the people of this country have made a decision and the politicians really, again IMO, didn't influence them one way or the other. Most people, I expect, voted for what they wanted,

Football shmootball , they played shite . They thought they'd stroll on , pop in a little goal or two and then saunter around the pitch gently passing the ball around for the rest of the match cos like Iceland are crap innit bro ?. 10 mins in , one goal up and they may as well have been using zimmer frames .
