The infatuation is subjective to how you see it. I see him trying to get her attention to get her to react so he can then say look at the state of her and win points.
It's obvious you have a soft spot for Sam but I don't think he is a saint in all this. To his credit he kept quiet about it all which made him look the better person. The truth is we don't know that he didn't cheat or use her for money as S implied. He certainly never denied it.”

All she sacrificed was her morals and what little morsel of respect she was clinging to after her embarrassing sacking from HO last year . She saw something she wanted (Jez) and took it . MySam never entered her wobbly heid till the others brought him up , then she decided she'd trash him and that way she'd look like the victim rather than the dirty cow who dropped her frillies for a virtual stranger .
Nobody is trying to get her attention though. Not Jez, not mySam and certainly not will i am or any TV people clutching scripts .
No mySam is certainly not a saint , no way. But compared to her he certainly appears to be . He has neither denied nor admitted any of her fantastical tales .It's called maintaining the moral high ground, or not airing potentially dirty knickers in public. His ex had no such ethics as we all saw .
I fully expected her to claim he tied her to a railway track when the 5.45pm to London was due , or that he had skinned her hamster and served it up with some fava beans and a nice chianti .
She's nuts really .
