So the question is : What effect could a psychic have on a person who may have personality disorders?

Just when there was finally something to discuss too!
You should see some of the vitriol aimed towards some of the current BB housemates on the main BB forum - I don't get the rules really? Anyway - there are so few of us here tonight - I reckon we could get away with a mini-bus! |

Can't believe it was shut down again
I thought the reason for the other thread being closed so that the BB forum could concentrate on the current series and it was okay to take it elsewhere. Does that mean we can continue in the appreciation section and we have just chosen the wrong section, or that this topic is not to be discussed? I'm confused now ![]() Is it worth contacting support for clarification? |

![]() ![]() ![]() Not advisable, I would have thought, but then I don't go for that sort of thing anyway. |

I know someone that was very vulnerable as a teenager after her Mum died - who went to see several Mediums. She ended up being obsessed with needing "messages" from her Mum all the time that she spent all her spare time trying to contact her Mum. She used to spend hours doing automatic writing and that thing where you look in a mirror at your own reflection until it changes.
She made herself very ill over it.

The problem I have with psychics, especially if you are in the media a lot, is that they can research the person and just tell them what they want to hear. it might make that person happy at the time but at a later date they will want more reassurance and keep going back for more .It becomes a drug and can be an expensive habit.

my cousin had a reading once.
it didn't make any sense to her at the time hut a year later it all made a LOT of sense. it basically fore saw her sons death but obviously she wasn't told that.it was only when it happened that all the pieces of information she was given tied together I hasten to add that it didn't have a negative effect on her. and as far as I'm aware she's never tried to 'contact' him since. |

I would like to remind people that we have ALWAYS had suitable toilet facilities and that the wardrobe is to be used by the EVIL MONKEY ONLY! NOT to relive yourslves in. ![]() ![]()

That's the issue I have with psychics, too many charlatans out there. I personally don't believe, however, if they can provide comfort, or set someone's mind at ease, great. But to prey on the bereaved and vulnerable is repugnant!
