The filter has broken inside my kettle, so i'm going to have to buy a new one, because i don't like the scaley bits that you get - i got cheapo from Tescos, lasted a few months
Is that offer still on Heather ? ooooo sounds ok, i have had a blue light with this cheapo one too ! .
Yes . BUY BUY BUY . Pours nicely (no dribbles).

Was it this one? http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Produc...er/4026224.htm

Nice, might have to get a spare,
Yep , that's it . Reduced from £59 not £54 .
Good brand name too . Tell them Hev sent you and you'll get mates rates .

Next stop , Screwfix for a new sink . Gotta check with the plumber first in case he says it won't do . Workmen can be SO picky , but I'm more worried he might say it's a shite brand . I just want a simple sink .

I bought a new kettle yesterday . Our old new one (three months old, B&M shite) popped it's clogs and we were using a rather dated old one I keep as a spare. Drove me nuts plugging and unplugging it every time . Yes it is THAT old . Anyways the new one was reduced in Argos from £54 to £19.99 . I wouldn't contemplate paying £54 for a kettle , although I quite fancied the glass one at just under £40 , but my fella has a dodgy hand and I think the glass kettle might be too heavy for him when filled . But this one I got is nice , lights up blue when you switch it on which tickles me till the novelty wears off .
Would've enjoyed watching the water gurgling and bubbling in the glass one though . . Never satisfied , us weemin .
OH got a cracking cream one from Sainsbury a few weeks ago £19.99 reduced from £45 great kettle narrow at top wide at bottom, looks great!

That's a lovely looking one Rogana , but I had one that shape and that over the top handle was really awkward for hubby to use . I was kind of glad when it died . It was a good kettle mind you , just that handle issue meant a bit of contortions to empty it fully . I prefer the side handle ones now .

Right you lot - Tomorrow morning 8am - live from Pretoria
Oscar Pistorius is being Sentenced for Murder

You can watch it live streaming from the Court on www.enca.com , or the Telegraph or bbc news 24 or youtube . It may also be live on Sky News too.

Live stream link here
http://www.enca.com/south-africa/pre...ing-procedures
I'll be watching, I sat through the trial and appeal.
I was so glad when his conviction was changed to murder, I just hope he does some real time now.

Keep your flashy new kettles, mine has been going for 19 years, cost a £10 and fingers crossed it can carry on.

Every flashy kettle I had before that lasted a year if you were lucky.

THERE you are . Thought you were a hit and run poster when you ran off like that .
Yeah some days it takes an age to catch up, then others there's nothing much going on at all . Swings and roundabouts .

Hmm, I suspect she's one of those hypochondriac upduffies . Even before this baby malarky she was taking to her bed regularly (generally after a few nights on the tiles) and demanding 24 hour attention till she sobered up or rehydrated and slept it off . So I daresay she'll have a hotline to her local hospital so she can get emergency scans every time she panics over something . She's also in a position financially to afford private scans , so I daresay she will indulge in those .

We like positive lurkers .
We like negative ones too (she lied through her tensely gritted teeth) , but positive is better . Just chuck any old news in anytime , or tell Jack to put a sock in it when he starts ranting . We all do it , he's thick skinned. Hide like a rhino . But he's OUR rhino and a very protected species .
Don't mess with Evil though . Hard as nails and practices witchcraft (warlockcraft ?) in the garden shed . Loves his daddy ->>😈
Totally draining the NHS for a look at baby, worse thing is a normal person would be referred to social worker after too many trips to the MAU, but as she's a 'celeb" she will get away with it. Drinking and smoking and getting early scans while women like me (I nearly died with the ectopic) are left waiting because people like her clog up the appointments. I remember being told my baby was healthy with a heartbeat just in wrong place and would kill me so had to be removed and walking out to the waiting room in tears while a heavily pregnant heroin addict sat there off her face. Really annoys me. Anyway back to business are you all watching bb? I know Hughie in real life. And I knew Marc from last year too

My housemate claims I am looking better than I did this morning. I am demanding a second opinion! 12 hours of sympathy is not sufficient for what may very well be the first ducumented case of terminal man flu.

Dirty little shitbag . (Oscar , not you Jack) .
Even if I wasn't working I'd not watch . Bloody Tilly Masipa is doing the new sentence and she's in awe of his shiny gloriousness . She practically sent him home with just a smacked bottom last time , silly woman .
I'll predict 12 years. Minus time served (dicking around in Uncle Arnies mansion and huge estate ). Part of it under house arrest (same mansion) or on probation .
While Reeva rots in her grave .

As someone wise said ,
When Oscar Pistorius said he wanted to be just like able bodied athletes, who knew he meant OJ Simpson?
He is a rotton liar , and SA Justice System is all about the Defence you can afford.
She has polio and that's why she has limited mobility herself, i hope her brain is switched on tomorrow so Reeva Steenkamp's family can get some form of Justice finally with Pisto-pants getting a reasonably long prison term for the correct conviction of Murder. 2nd attempt by Judge Tilsy Masipa , then I hope she finally retires.

Legal pundits are estimating between 5-8 years prison time, the rest outside doing community work (riding quad bikes around Uncle's safari parks , (sentence reduced after time served and Mercy given for his disability and mental state (boo hoo) )

I want to see him go dowwwwwwwwwwwnnnnnnnnnn

I will be pleasantly surprised if he gets that long. 3yrs at most in a cosy upmarket prison, allowed out once a week etc.

Use bottled Volvic and limescale is a thing of the past, keeps the inside of the kettle sparkling!

That was disgusting could understand it if she was a 3 year old and in a restaurant, how humiliating for the rest of them at the table.
