Keep your flashy new kettles, mine has been going for 19 years, cost a £10 and fingers crossed it can carry on.

Every flashy kettle I had before that lasted a year if you were lucky.
We've got a spare in the cupboard upstairs, dome, £10 from local coop works a treat and we used it for a few years before this one

My housemate claims I am looking better than I did this morning. I am demanding a second opinion! 12 hours of sympathy is not sufficient for what may very well be the first ducumented case of terminal man flu.
You need a month off work, bangle

Totally draining the NHS for a look at baby, worse thing is a normal person would be referred to social worker after too many trips to the MAU, but as she's a 'celeb" she will get away with it. Drinking and smoking and getting early scans while women like me (I nearly died with the ectopic) are left waiting because people like her clog up the appointments. I remember being told my baby was healthy with a heartbeat just in wrong place and would kill me so had to be removed and walking out to the waiting room in tears while a heavily pregnant heroin addict sat there off her face. Really annoys me. Anyway back to business are you all watching bb? I know Hughie in real life. And I knew Marc from last year too
I LOVE hughie and Marc ! Heart heart them both . Irish humour can be difficult to connect with for some people , but I love it .

Och Sad is doing my head in . Clearly building up to something she thinks will blow our socks off . Kiss my ass Sad. The only thing that would blow my socks off is if she stopped being a hyper 5 year old and accepted the fact that she's nuts .

What is it about kettles, I've just had to replace mine too! Polished black for me

Where my son works they have two of those triangular shaped ones with a hoop handle on the top. Drives him up the wall as the steam rushes up to your hand when pouring the water out and you almost have to tip it upside down to empty it.
that's dangerous, they look awkward too those, i did wonder about them

SPOOKY - we're all needing new kettles, must be something in the water, as they say
Was it this one? http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Produc...er/4026224.htm

Nice, might have to get a spare,
yes yes, that's H's
I've reserved mine,
I like the idea of it being reduced so much,
but now i'm worried there's a reason they're not selling at over £50

Because no-one would pay over £50 for a kettle.

I live in a hard water area, even filtered water causes filters to clog up. Volvic ( my bottled water of choice) stops the need for a filter and any limescale cleaning.

Jesus , if I was a tin-foil hat person I'd suspect aliens messing with us .
It is a bit freaky . All I said was that I bought a new kettle and Kettlemania swamped us all . Dead funny though

Have you got the vommiting bug ?
Or just flu ?
Poor you.
I've never been sick but feel nauseous, cold sweats, headache, sore throat etc. Hopefully just a 24 hour thing. The self pity that i am currently wallowing in will likely be dragged out longer, i'm the worst ill person.

He's just fiery dome . Travelers are mostly like that . They all shout and scream at bugger all . It's all wind and water most of the time though .
