No nothing doing...while mr nem might at a push be persuaded to mow the lawn, erect the gazebo and clean the barbecue...he will certainly draw the line at being sued for compensation from next door....you'll just have to park your lorry elsewhere
OK.

So what about our pirate ship ?
It's stunning . You could tell the neighbours it's a garden feature and was on offer in B&Q .
Ashley and Laurel have one in Emmerdale so why can't you ? the height of fashion .
We'll all hide in the hold till the neighbours go to bed before we break out the barrels of rum and commence sword fights to screams of " Oh arr me hearties !"
We shall buckle our swashes till dawn . You'll love it . Neighbours ? not so much .

Jazus look at the time . Been debating on BB . Gotta go
Nite nite ye landlubbers ! ⛵ ⚓

She thinks she has a pretty face ?
She thinks very highly of herself doesn't she.
I thought it might be a dig at JIM

I'm irrationally angry at people carrying on their normal lives. It's been a year since we lost Dad and I can remember thinking last year "how can world news go on, that doesn't matter!". I know it's completely irrational and self-obsessed, but it's how it felt at the time.

Thanks It was most weird turning the telly on the next day and news and stuff still going on, like somehow it shouldn't be!

Talking of news, the shootings in Dallas this morning were just awful. I see they're saying bombs have been planted too, but hope not. It wouldn't make sense to plant bombs if it were a revenge thing against the police, but then I guess rationality doesn't really come into it much.

I can understand, it's 33 years today since my Father died very suddenly, it does become better with time and the good memories of them last forever.

Need to rack your consumer knowledge again ...............

TOASTERS ?

I need a new one, you helped me on here on the Kettle (cheers Heather) , now the toaster is in need of replacement , any known offers going. Looking for a stainless steel (maybe shiney to match the kettle) preferably a 4 slice, but 2 is ok - but not too deep but wide is ok. ?

Don't go cheapy cheap, we did and only the finely sliced bread actually fits in the blasted thing. No muffins or crumpets for us

Used to have a toaster that screeched when it was done, that was really irritating! So yes, get a silent toaster too

I've had one of these for 15 years or more with added sandwich cages (great for toasted sandwiches)

that's snazzy, but £139.99

The 4 slicers are going to be bit big perhaps
I like that though, good for crumpets.
The toaster i have you have to turn the slices upside down to make sure the entire slice is toasted, that is just stupid, who bought the the stupid thing

Oh expect us in the SHIP⛵ tomorrow 👉👉👉 your BIRTHDAY 🎈🎆🎁🎂

It's not a bit irrational , it's actually normal and I'd be more shocked if you didn't feel that .
When my mother died we'd not been long married and were living in a wee rented house in an unfamiliar area . She died at 10pm. At 1am I was back home , sat on our doorstep weeping furiously into a tea towel like a bloody banshee while neighbours returning home from nights out strolled past looking at me like I wasn't wise or crossing the street to avoid me . It hurt me terrible that nobody even asked if I was OK and I never settled in that house after that . We moved three months later . Yeah , you just want to scream out your hurt and shock that everyone is going about things totally unaware of your massive pain .
It really does get better . Never stops hurting , but becomes far more manageable as the years go by .
Just imagine all of us today sending you huge cyber hugs and feeling just a bit of your pain . xxx

I wouldn't advise on anything I'd not bought myself Jack .
The kettle buy I was happy to recommend because it was such great value for a brand name and looks nice, but other than that you need to go noseying round online for yourself . What I tend to do with anything I'm buying is find something I like at a price I like on ebay (or anywhere), then check the model out on amazon where the reviews are very honest and there are loads of them . If something is shite then you'll soon find out . Or if it has little quirks that might annoy you. Proper people reviews on amazon, not just giving stars and no comments .
Take your time choosing . BUT , at present we are using a cheapo toaster from ASDA and it's a big clunky thing that doesn't toast the bread evenly , so I will be looking for a new one (brand name and well reviewed) soon . If I find a bargain I'll let you know . 👍

How dull, what is she 8 ?
She's doing all the things you'd do with a child
She's got a long wait , so why can't she wait longer and do it with this kid when it's old enough, she's really wierd.

Maybe she's only going into the City Centre in Liverpool, dome
Certain substances can make you see people as lions and tigers and bears

One the other hand maybe Chester Zoo
That will be handy for bumping into her Hollyoaks pals
