Maybe just as well, auroora, you never know what disease is in that.

You can always spend the lotto money on a new outfit

Flowes ? Panderoona was on early, but i forgot to reply about the shooting in Dallas, five officers killed i think, 11 wounded , terrible.”

I'm back and catching up - been fghting with insurers as to who going to pay for what (buildings or contents) after my roof leak the other week.. They've finally agreed liability but now going through the process of getting everything out in order to get everything back in again shiny and new.

Sooooo hard to find good reliable tradesman

BIB
Had the same problem trying to find a plumber recently, Flowes.
Finally found a chap who was a friend of a friend and came at short notice to do a little job for us. I wanted to replace kitchen tap myself, but OH said no! I knew exactly what to do, but she didn't want to take a risk
Jack was wondering where all our usuals had disappeared to, but jack himself hasn't been seen since Friday???

You have to be careful not to upset EVIL or his dad SP, I'm getting fed up with the tennis that last game took 52 minutes. Maybe EVIL could just make it rain screw it all up just for a little while, soak them all.

Watched F!, rain there and made it more exciting, 1 british win today. Murray, I can't watch him he annoys me for some reason, rain there they'll just close the roof. Waiting for mixed doubles with Heather Watson, Sod the football later, too much sport for 1 day.

Hmm, tell me about it . Being on a "Let's decorate one /two/three/four rooms ! and get all those little annoying things sorted/fixed/changed beyond recognition !" is bloody draining .But addictive . Determined not to ever say (for at least 4 years anyway) "I wish we'd got the chippy/plumber to do such&such ."
Thank God there's been no disaster like yours though, bad luck there Flo .
Well, apart from our car incident .
Actually I think we're not bad for tradesmen really round here. Got the car fixed locally for £300 and that was a bargain . About to get the new sink put in for £45 .......BUT he says if he needs to cut a wee bit (2 cm) off the worktop to accommodate my chosen sink then it will be £70 . Hmm, £25 to make a 96cm hole into a 98 one .Not bad I suppose . He will be boxing in some pipes for me elsewhere , but not priced that wee job yet because it's on a wall due to be papered yet .
It's all a money drain , but I look on it as an investment in my future contentment and what price is too high to shut me up eh ? (hubby says)

He's been kicking ass and having a good moan over in the Oscar the Murderer thread . Has his deerstalker hat on and carrying a huge magnifying glass as he sifts through the evidence . I think he wants to slap silly-Tilly Masipa for her arrogance ., but he needs to get to the back of a very very long queue .
