Hmm, tell me about it . Being on a
"Let's decorate one /two/three/four rooms ! and get all those little annoying things sorted/fixed/changed beyond recognition !" is bloody draining .But addictive . Determined not to ever say (for at least 4 years anyway)
"I wish we'd got the chippy/plumber to do such&such
."
Thank God there's been no disaster like yours though, bad luck there Flo .

Well, apart from our car incident .

Actually I think we're not bad for tradesmen really round here. Got the car fixed locally for £300 and that was a bargain . About to get the new sink put in for £45 .......BUT he says if he needs to cut a wee bit (2 cm) off the worktop to accommodate my chosen sink then it will be £70 . Hmm, £25 to make a 96cm hole into a 98 one .Not bad I suppose . He will be boxing in some pipes for me elsewhere , but not priced that wee job yet because it's on a wall due to be papered yet .
It's all a money drain , but I look on it as an investment in my future contentment and what price is too high to shut me up eh ? (hubby says)
