I just remembered that the mods were in the Pisto thread not long ago and they stated that they had "removed some posts and issued warnings to some posters , BUT that if the personal sparring continued then bans will be issued ".
I suspect Jack was warned , so his ban bop might be slightly longer because he didn't take the warning seriously .
He'll be back fighting fit and will have learned a hard lesson . Don't mess with the mods .
