I don't think Jack wants to be in The Wickerman Festival - especially not as The Wickerman

On topic .

I got the most stunning immaculate pair of curtains in a charity shop today .
Beautiful heavy buttery cream coloured and with a gorgeous Rennie Mackintosh style pattern (proper woven, not printed on ) .
Very much like the pattern below except that the terracotta in the image is actually a lovely pale gold on my curtains ..........SO much nicer (though terracotta would have been OK too) .
Gorgeous , and really wide too . Only £5 .
Oh God help me , getting uber excited over curtains . I don't care , I feel no shame , they are beautiful . I might take a pic of the pattern . I do like a bit of Rennie Mackintosh and these will be fab for Christmas .

And I got a super top for one of my Christmas outfits (if God spares me) . And an emergency shower coat for keeping in the car . Been caught out a few times in recent weeks by sudden downpours .
Yes , a good day shopping .
I go to bed a happy bunny . Night all 💋

You're so lucky, charity shops here don't have anything like that here.

Hope Jack's back in time for the Second Coming.....erm, I mean the birth of Sad's little darling! Hurry, hurry Jack, it could be any day now the way Sad's going on about needing to get everything sorted!

Oh, Charity shopping is my favourite pastime - not something to brag about really but most of my clothes come from the charity shops....I love a bargain.

3 days from first seeing the house and she's the owner? I don't think so. Six weeks minimum normally from start to completion.

She's signed a tenancy agreement that's all. As usual her mangling of the English language has led to a misunderstanding. I'd put my shirt on it.

We will know the truth when she posts a picture of the keys, as she inevitably will.

Me too, it's the way she says it 's off the market she could have been looking a lot longer than she has let on though and is buying carpet and furniture, surely not for a rental property.

Pics of keys, removal van. each room before and after, deliveries etc.

I know , we are really lucky . We have access (up to 10-15 mins by car) to roughly 6 or 7 . A couple are very disorganised ones raising funds for local things , but the rest are great . Then the posh one is across town------- and 30 mins through stunning countryside takes us to a wee market town with 5 little charity shops .I've been given 'a lead' to a huge big warehouse style one that does furniture and everything about 45 mins away from us , so that's on my to-do list . Hubby is dreading it though, lol .

It bloody is to brag about missus . . I love a good charity shop hoke . Look at it like this, we've been recycling since before it became fashionable 👍 .

I know , did you ever see such a palaver over a birth ? Even Kate Middleton didn't make that much fuss popping out her heir .
One minute she's whining about her iron levels and being knackered, next minute she's bull shitting about an exercise/yoga class .
