Ukraine create their third good chance, interrupting the wholly unjustified ranting by the commentators about how poorly Ukraine have been playing.

They don't restrict the opposition, but they are clinical when going forward.

Offside! Ukraine will surely score....

Ukraine growing into this

We've seen some action in this first half.

Goodness me, the Germans look vulnerable. Not sure how it's not 1-1.

They are getting closer and closer.

The commentators have been so poor they should be muzzled.

Disgusted by Murphy and the shrieker he is sitting next to, switched to radio 5 live commentary

Germany brilliant going forward but they are a defensive basket-case. Easy to see how they can be beaten given that.

Ukraine look exciting too. Northern Ireland should be worried.

Give Jonathan Pearce credit, at least he didn't have a meltdown trying to understand goal-line technology this time.

Surely it's only a matter of time before Ukraine level.

The Germans are leaving great gaps at the back all over the place.

Good match now, Germany will be happy for the whistle to blow.

So Ukraine's had a goal-line clearance and an offside. They don't want to give me my BTTS in the first half bet, do they?

What are the chances of NI finishing bottom?

Ah, should have cut that one back.

You can see where this match is going. Ukraine failing to take chances and before long the Germans will punish them.

Great spell for Ukraine. Exciting team going forward with their wide players. Due a goal really.

High, on this basis.

So ends a wonderful first half - and one the Germans are perhaps lucky to lead in.

High I think. Lots here have marked the Ukraine game as the most winnable one but they're looking pretty dangerous here. They may find it harder to break down a more defensive side but NI need to win.

I think Neuer has been Germany's best player which says everything about how well Ukraine have played.

Hopefully they'll be able to keep it up, but Ukraine could've done with getting the equaliser before half-time.

This tournament so far seems so open with who can win it. Every teams perceived weakness has shined through so far
