Oh, Davis was in there!

Poor defending from Poland to allow him to make that run undetected.

Poland are living dangerously here if you ask me : that's several half chances they've conceded in the last few minutes......NI could get lucky

Gerry Amstrong - think he used to manage them? He's not insightful at all he just randomly lauds certain NI players

Was the commentary as bias last night for England? It seems to be hyperbolic for this match,
Yes, it was biased as it was when Wales were playing - nothing wrong with that, in my view, when it's a home nation playing - but not to the point where I had to ask myself if I was watching the same match.

Get a decent ball in to the box, now.

Didn't catch the name of the pundit on BBC but he has taken bias to a whole new level - he has been utterly absurd throughout, each of his insightful additions to the commentary has been so one eyed as to be completely laughable .... and insultingly inaccurate.
Thats the basic level of commentary for NI games on BBC NI

We've been poor today, but not so poor that I don't believe we can't beat Ukraine - fail to win that and we're out, barring a miracle of 1982 proportions against the Germans.

Have to say though our fans living up to their reputation as the best in Europe. Singing all evening. A world away from the "only sing when we're winning" mentality of so many others.

From Paddy Power Twitter...

" 'Gerry Armstrong's cup is always half full.' Half full of complete bias and bollocks. #POLNIR"

I've said all along, NI, ROI and Wales will be heading home on the same plane, I stand by that.

Muppet GK. Punched that off the head of the defender. Szcesney flattened at 91mins exactly. restart 92min10.

A thoroughly deserved win for the Poles.

NI will really have to up their game against Ukraine, it could be a case of do or die with the Germans to follow.

Well, the better team won, but that is saying very, very little.

The team who played for the win got the win, which is always good.

Don't want to be unkind to Northern Ireland but that's easily the poorest display we've seen in Euro 2016 so far.

They offered virtually nothing in an attacking sense whatsoever.

It's all very well to build a performance on defensive solidity if you know you have options to get back into the match if that happens to get breached, and Northern Ireland didn't.

I fear for them in their remaining matches.

Sorry, but NI deserved nothing but a defeat and probably a heavier one than they got. Didn't turn up. Onwards and upwards!

If NI pay an ordinary team like Poland that much respect in the first half presumably theyll start with 11 in their own 6 yard box against Germany

Do you still think that about Wales after yesterday?

A defensive set up in a tournament is just asking for it.

You are assuming they will actually get off the coach and not drive it onto the pitch and park it in front of the goals. I hadn't thought they would be that adventurous against Germany.

Agree. Feel for the fans who travelled. If you're going to lose at least put up a fight, i.e. some players in the opposition half and take a chance on just your defensive players doing their job properly
