Strip Russia hosting the World Cup 2018 please!
Leeah

FIFA, in two years Russia are hosting the WC. Hell no! Not safe, from what I've seen it was them charging over to the England fans side after the match yesterday. It's the English people I've seen with bloodied heads not them, yet some just blaming English people...

Should England be banned from hosting World Cups in the future because of how their fans behaved in the past couple of days?

Yet again the media get people believing what they want them to believe.

All involved with the violence are just as bad that's the local thugs, the English thugs, the Russian thugs and the police thugs, it was only a minority that were fighting, don't let the few spoil it for the many.

If Russia were to be stripped of holding the WC it should be for the brown envelopes and not last night.

Sounds fair enough to me.

The WC will be held only in countries with no history of football violence. I guess that means San Marino or Liechtenstein will be holding the WC far more often than they have so far.

Well at least they would qualify to be in it just by being the host, maybe someone should tell Scotland to put up a bid.

The Scottish Cup final of 3 weeks ago would put the kibosh on that!

Russia should have been stripped of the WC when they invaded Ukraine, then when they shot down the passenger plane, then when the FIFA scandal unfolded, but now it's pretty much too late for any nation (bar England) to get ready for 2018. And England aren't savvy enough to get it. Unfortunately, it won't happen.

and the general behaviour of some Celtic/Rangers fans in Europe maybe - they are always getting into bother due to their sectarian songs (might be harsh or not?)

Are lot of the Welsh support from Cardiff and Swansea because I know they aren't exactly the best of friends when it comes to rivals!

Yeah, Celtic and Rangers have paid for a few UEFA Christmas parties over the years with the fines they've received.

Cardiff/Swansea/Wrexham/Newport might not usually be too friendly but I wonder if that'll change for Wednesday and Thursday?

The Russian hooligans are the least of the reasons that they shouldn't be allowed to host the world cup.

Russia is a rogue state from Putin down to the dumbest hooligan. We can't ban Russia from world affairs but we could ban them from international sport.

This.

There's been many more more glaring reasons to strip them of it. Same as Qatar. Never gonna happen sadly.

England fans have defended themselves from vicious attacks from Russian mobs and French street gangs in balaclavas. England fans have behaved as any normal person would.

A better idea is to stage a mass boycott of the FIFA World Cup and start your own World Cup, not including Russia. The USA , France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Brazil and Portugal would be on our side and the other countries would want to be involved in a world cup with the best teams. Just ignore Russia.

As mentioned it's possibly too late, but also it's FIFA - they couldn't give a monkeys.

None of those countries you mentioned have got issues with hooliganism or corruption....

BIB - are you sure about that? I highly doubt it. Germany have never supported any of England's complaints against FIFA and neither have France or Brazil. Italy and Argentina (and of course now USA) are the only other nations to speak out against FIFA. But a World Cup without Germany or Brazil would not really work

Its likely england would not be included/ invited in a breakaway from Fifa

I think we'd be at the head of it!

Certainly so if Baltter had stayed.

Why not? It'd give England a greater chance of winning a World Cup so I'd be all for it.
