The 'revolving door' of Big Brother
Im asking mainly the die hard-core BB fans whom have watched show since BB1
So, way back when, IF the HMs exited, at their own accord, they would be out. Labelled a walker, no ifs no buts. Today, it seems to happen every series. What do you prefer? How would you have felt if any of the ones this series cracking that fire-exit lock, were now gone gone gone? Because yup, they sure would be if Davina and ch4 had anything to do with it. It seems the HMs are told to fake exits, to beef the story line. I believe Lisa (Mario's Girl) was the first to experience revolving door syndrome back in 2008. (she broke fire exit lock and walked -- it caused a great ooohaaa at the time. Do you mind that the HMs walk straight back in, as if nothing had happened? |

I have watched since series 1 and I'm trying to remember how many breakouts there were in the early days. One that sticks in my mind was Sandy BB3. He may not have been the first though....
It certainly seems to happen more now and probably due to the fact that they are allowed to return if they want to. So create a bit of drama get some airtime but don't lose your place. In answer to your question, I think that anyone that breaks out should automatically lose their place!

I think they should lose their place too - no eviction interview, no place on the final night show either.
They are mostly such die-hard wannabees, if they really believed that they would lose their place, the wouldn't walk in the first place. It;s just tedious now. |

I know. Big Brother soon takes them to the Diary Room to issue them with warnings for the slightest indiscretion yet as soon as they think they're going to lose one of their ratings winners, they're sitting them down with a cup of tea and convincing them to stay.
There should be one firm rule - you break out and you're gone. |

BB is a parody of itself now, with more and more overtly desperate slobs who would sell their babies and their gran if it got them any of column inches, a free boob job or a slot on Jeremy Kyle But we all know what it has become and it is still quite fun to watch |

Have to agree with everyone who is saying out is out.
No return. No interview. No spin off shows. Like Sandy disappearing over the roof never to be seen again.....*careful Sandy* |

Was Sandy the one that peed in the kitchen bin as a parting gift?

Remember Glyn from BB7 getting on the BB roof. He was punished.
Wasn't he put up for eviction? |

![]() Just seen the other replies, ejected is a better way to describe her exit than evicted. |

I'd go a step futher and say anyone who threatens to walk should be evicted. it should be 100% unceremonious, and the only acknowledgement should be a BB announcing to the house that the contestant has left. They would have previously signed a contract forbidding them from talking about their experience publicly, so no cashing in whatsoever.
The way things are now it makes a mockery of the Big Brother totalitarian control backdrop. |
