The producers are scared of upsetting the house mates, they all know they will do nothing so skys the limit for breaking rules.
One problem is some are asked to go in so don't care If they get thrown out. |

That was one of the most staged things I've ever seen on BB. Funniest part was when Leo tried to give the camera the finger and got muddled up with his fingers

There were a whole clatter of HMs who escaped into the camera runs in BB10 I think. Can't remember who now. Also, Jack Dee tried to escape but was returned to the house in the first ever celeb version.

I agree, people who walk should not be allowed back and people who threaten to leave should be shown the door.
It will eventually set a president and no longer happen. However the problem is that contestants are no longer 'civilians'. So there are agents, contracts and deals to consider, so it probably isn't as straightforward as just letting them go. Nowadays, I bet half of them have it in their contract that they can pop home and feed the cat each night! |

Toofy, despite leaving the house for X Factor rehearsals, still went on to win his series |

Im asking mainly the die hard-core BB fans whom have watched show since BB1
So, way back when, IF the HMs exited, at their own accord, they would be out. Labelled a walker, no ifs no buts. Today, it seems to happen every series. What do you prefer? How would you have felt if any of the ones this series cracking that fire-exit lock, were now gone gone gone? Because yup, they sure would be if Davina and ch4 had anything to do with it. It seems the HMs are told to fake exits, to beef the story line. I believe Lisa (Mario's Girl) was the first to experience revolving door syndrome back in 2008. (she broke fire exit lock and walked -- it caused a great ooohaaa at the time. Do you mind that the HMs walk straight back in, as if nothing had happened? |

To the best of my memory, they tried to talk it through with every single one.
Sandy went over a roof which us when Alex cautioned him from the garden but I do remember a tussle with a security guard at the gate. The same one Leo Sayer had his hissy fit. I also think Jack Dee was possibly the first potential escapee but he was persuaded back. |

By all means let them come back in, an escapee adds drama.
If they escaped because they really couldn't cope, they wouldn't want to come back in. However . . . There should be consequences for both the escapee (like make them automatically nominated for eviction) and also affect the rest of the house (like when they started reducing the prize money) That would increase drama in the house and create greater "crash TV" |

I think if they escape/ask to leave/are ejected by BB then they they should be let go WITHOUT being invited to do bots. BB need tk be a lot firmer, its an absolute piss-take

It certainly seems to happen more now and probably due to the fact that they are allowed to return if they want to. So create a bit of drama get some airtime but don't lose your place.

I think if you break out you should stay out. I also think if you keep whinging to BB about wanting to leave, you should be shown the door. Maybe as a one off tell them to sleep on it, but second time, kick them out, right there 😊
