Why? If you want an uncomplicated relationship, and that person is happy to cheat on their partner, why is the other person's fiancee anything to do with you? All the guilt is on him in that situation, in my opinion.

I really don't want to watch it TBH. The pair of them make me feel a bit ill. It would serve them right if the camera/production just let them get on with it and broadcast absolutely none of it. My guess is they'd feel rather silly.

I've been reading this thread and agree with much of what you have written however I am curious about why you don't think she can be blamed for her own insecurities? Most of us have some insecurities to varying degrees but I don't think others are to blame for our own emotions or insecurities/securities. We (or one) chooses how they process and react to the external environment (other people, things, etc)

Insecurities would be a plausible reason for that behaviour and I'm not disagreeing but tbh in her case I'm not immediately thinking 'insecurity'. I figured she is so just so pathetically desperate for fame and money and will do anything to get it.

Yes, but I think that's bravado. She also mentioned that she had been in a relationship for a long time, became a housewife and found herself again. I don't think she's anything like as confident as she seems. I think her apparent sexual confidence is a facade to hide that fact that she is actually incredibly insecure about herself, and she has a lot of casual relationships as a form of justifying her self-worth. Just my own opinion, could be completely wrong. A lot of people do that if they feel unlovable.

I quite like Laura when she isn't around Marco and the hate she gets is quite uncalled for, but she doesn't do herself any favours as she keeps running back to him after saying she isn't happy with what she's doing.

I feel sorry for her actually cause she's the token first boot whilst Marco will probably get none of the flack for it because he's the man and he'll probably get far. I think Laura is a nice girl and she isn't malicious or nasty or anything.

IMO she has zeroed in on him only because of who he is the Son of, she is a bit part actress with a soso modeling career with her own calendar out now at £9.99 on the net. I am sure Marco Snr could open a few doors for her, all she has to do is open her legs. I'm not saying this has ever been done before by an actress trying to get somewhere, but it might have. She wouldn't look at him twice if his Dad was Marco nobody who worked as a chef at macdonalds.

The trouble is she has done something wrong by her own reasoning as she said that she wouldn't go there with Marco because he has a fiance but she went there anyway. From a viewer's perspective too she has done wrong in that it was pretty apparent that her change of heart came after she heard how much Marco was prepared to spend on a night out. She's dug her own grave here and I don't think this situation bears any relation to the often double standards held against female HMs.

Used that very overt sex appeal, said all the right things, had that guy wrapped right round her finger and viewers fell for it - I think they ending up getting a lot of attention during that series because they appeared to be the 'real deal'. They were as real as Bigfoot!
