Yeah, Ronaldo might fancy his chances against (with great respect to them) Iceland's defence.

I was not trying to bait, mock or insinuate anything negative like that, all I said was that personally I don't think that they are players that a team when in desperate need of a goal, you look towards doing so.

That is not trolling, or anything like that.

Yet your comment towards me felt like you were gloating over the fact that he didn't score. The post I quoted didn't say what you're talking about. It was just gloating, or taunting. I don't know how else I am meant to read that post but that's all I got from it.

“Are you still sure after yet another Origi miss?”

That's the kind of thing you say to someone in a "I told you so" sort of way. Except him not scoring didn't prove me wrong in any way.

Italy squeezed everything they could out of their players and deserved the win.”

Do you think Belgium having so many players playing in the Premier League is maybe affreting the team as we dont have a Winter break

I'm sure any remaining skeptical Chelsea fans feel a lot more at ease with their managerial appointment now.

Pretty good game. Impressed with Italy's performance but Belgium were frustrating to watch. Not much fluidity and felt they were forcing it all the time, trying to pass through the middle when there was no room. I don't think they cope very well with the pressure of being one of the favourites.

Try not to be so touchy Munch... Origi missed a couple of good chances, it happens.
He was still the right choice to bring on, you're right.

I'm not being touchy at all. If someone appears to gloat over the fact that he didn't score as if it proves their point then I'll point it out.

I was not gloating, I was just asking a simple question if you were still sure that I was wrong in my thinking, seeing as Origi missed another very good chance.

It was nothing personal towards you in a negative context.

I wouldn't rule them out yet... They still created quite a few chances.

Agree italy were excellent. Superb technique in all, areas of the pitch.

It was a toin toss really, as either him or Benteke would have performed better than Lukaku, as he was performing below par for what they needed someone in his position on the pitch to do.

Okay, then yes, I am still sure that you are wrong in your thinking. Him missing a chance doesn't change anything.

Next season will be very interesting, as there are a lot of very high profile managers within it!

No, I don't. I think if they had a coach like Antonio Conte they would be a fantastic team.

Fair enough, him missing a chance doesn't prove that he isn't someone you bring on when you need a goal, and then he doesn't score, okay then, we will just disagree and move on then.

Having not been in here all night, I saw TheMunch was the last poster and confidently predicted before I entered that he'd be taking exception to a comment by an individual who I also guessed whilst watching the game would take glee in swiping at yet another of his favourite targets. The fact I was correct is not some kind of amazing premonition but a damning condemnation of the predictable antics of a seemingly relentless ivy-like presence that is choking the forum. Shallow, snide and utterly unnecessary. As usual.

Rant over.

You're right, with the talented players they have they could still do well but I think they will have to up their level.

Excuse me, since when is one not allowed an opinion on players?

I have said nothing snide or shallow at all.

I was taking no "glee" at anyone, so where you got that from I don't know.

Please explain how anyone let alone myself is choking this or any other part of these forums??

I'm not sure if the fact that you saw my name and knew I was arguing is a good thing.

I agree the talent is very much there, but they do need to be more of a team if they wish to go far in this tournament.

Found it... Please don't begin a back and forth about forum behaviour and choking stuff on this thread...

I really do not want to, and I would not feel the need to try and defend myself if others did not get personal towards myself.
