I remember Belgium getting a lot of hype at the world cup and being a bit underwhelming.

Belgium must have their very own Hodgson in charge to make such a talented bunch of players perform so badly as a team.

I never watch the foreign leagues on Sky or BT so must admit that apart from Buffon and the Man Utd full back I've never heard of any of these Italian players
Have they had a big rebuilding in the last few years ? |

De Bruyne took too long getting it out of his feet then.
Lots of possession, little purpose from Belgium. |

Terrific half. Italy should be 2-up. Belgium flattering to deceive one again.

Belgium look every bit like a collection of talented individuals who are thoroughly underwhelming as an actual team.

Belgium look like a team who have skill but not chemistry. De Brueyne is misplacing a lot of passes, Hazard is trying to make things happen but the others don't seem to be on his wavelength. They need to take the handbreak off and go after them.
Italy seem like the less technically talented side but they're in-your-face, attacking with pace and well set up defensively. Conte has managed this well. |

Belgium fortunate to only be one goal behind. Italy really doing their best to put them to the sword once they had scored.
Other than Italians, I think the happiest people will be Chelsea fans and the arrival of Antonio Conte. |

Still have yet to see Belgium play a decent side and impress me. Easy to see how Wales took four points off them.
Italy look intense and passionate, with enough quality to hurt the opposition. Think Candreva is a class act. |

I think once Italy put the pressure on none of the Belgium players responded well; none of them are having a good game now, especially since the goal was conceded.
Something not right about the team spirit and the collective sense of themselves. Who are the warriors in the team? |

Surely Belgium have someone better than Fellani.
He sums them up so far. Very ordinary. |
