The game will also be on talkSPORT, BBC Radio 5 Live and on the BBC Sport website and App.

The Irish have only beaten the Swedes 3 times in their 10 previous meetings and are winless in their last 6 matches against them.

The good news for Martin O'Neills men is that Sweden's talisman Zlatan Ibrahimovic has failed to score in 3 previous games against them.

Zlatan will make mincemeat of the Irish defence I reckon.

An Irish win, coupled with a good performance by Ibrahimovic would do for me.

Very excited about this one. I reckon the Republic could be the surprise package in this group. They appear to be on the up and improving all the time and Shane Long is in the form of his life.

Swedish fans are singing to the NI fans, to the tune of "Go West"

Go home!

To your ugly wives!

I have to say, a very good friend of mine who worked in Sweden for a while, said he has never seen so many gorgeous women in his whole life!

I would love an exciting game that say finishes 3-2 to Ireland, but fear that it is most likely to be a drab affair, and a 1-1 scoreline.

As much as I love Ireland, Sweden has a special place in my heart too and I have friends in Stockholm, so I'm on the fence for this one.

Edit: I'm leaning towards Sverige.

The blokes aren't that bad either. My eyes are on stalks whenever I'm in Stockholm.

Absolutely buzzing for this one. Donning my Ibrahimovic shirt especially for the occasion.

Come on Sweden!

Neither side exactly set the world on fire in qualifying, both did so via play-offs, let's hope they both go out to try and win the game and not grind out a draw for fear of losing. A high scoring game would suit me just fine

Hoolahan is decent, Long has been productive and Walters is a threat and hard-working

Good to see some attacking players start; I think this could be open but still likely to be low scoring.

That's what I thought. I've watched football with Swedish fans a few times and they may have got a bit drunk (OK, some got absolutely shit-faced) but they were good-natured and respectful, unlike some fans of other nationalities.

He is coming off a great personal season, so he will be in a great place mentally, and most likely having already having his future sorted out after the tournament, so only having this to focus on, will mean he will be very dangerous.

I was actually alluding to the poster stating it was the Northern Irish fans that were on the receiving end!

Latest estimates are that there are 100,000 Irish fans in Paris (!)

It was sung in good nature, the NI fans were laughing along.

Not sure about this poetry bit. But Shane Long has a nice bum so the slo-mo was appreciated.

Zlatan just looks so cocky.
