I was just going to post similar. No doubt, it's efficient and there's no reason they should stop if it works for them, but I just find it dull to watch. I mean, I'm not convinced most of them are even human, they take so few risks, it's almost like they're following some computer algorithm to get the best possible outcome in every given instance

Who do we think has been the best team to watch from an attacking sense? Probably England so far?

The Czech defensive line is just starting to creak through Morata's presence.

They're losing track of more runs from others too.

Shades of Poland v Northern Ireland in the relentlessness of these Spanish waves...

You're probably right, we actually created chances consistently, it's just a shame we couldn't score any of them.

dunno. Has a look about it of 2 sides that want to make sure they don't lose this one. It's a really tough group.

Yes, and Germany.

You know what, I think they have been. Germany looked decent too, in many ways I think their match the other day was similar to the England match. They had most of the possession, they had tons of chances, but their game could very easily have ended 1-1 too because of some shaky defending, despite the fact they were by far the better team overall.

Iniesta's awareness is exemplary.

This is going to be a long final five minutes of the half for the Czechs...

Quite a few holes in this Czech defence now. They're doing well to hold on.

I didn't expect to see Biscuits in this tournament, i was sure Suarez would have eaten him by now. We all know that Suarez likes the taste of footballers

I actually prefer to watch Germany to Spain. Bit more direct and incisive, but nevertheless very cultured with an admirable dose of steel running through the team. Horribly good in fact ... damn them

Juanfran dawdling and playing the Czech striker onside.

Yes me too.
That's why I was disappointed they had a Spain-esque formation last night without a striker but they still vary their attacks more than Spain.
Still, I expect to see Gomez start as Gotze was not impressive as the furthest up front yesterday.

at last... a decent czech attack.

Now if Smalling had attempted a shot from 35 yards out such as Ramos has just done, which barely reached the goalie, we would be quick to condemn it as desperate, England running out of ideas ...

I can't remember seeing many more ones sided halves in terms of territory and possession than that.

Czechs will take that scoreline at the break but another 45 like that and surely the Spanish will bag the 3 points.

Another 45 like that and I will have fallen asleep. The Ukraine put Germany under far more pressure than the Czech Republic have done to Spain. I takes two teams to make a good match.

How have Spain not scored by now ?

I lost count of the number of chances.

Czech have defended on the whole well.

Honestly, I don't remember any golden Spain chances, Cech smothered from Silva, Morata shot low, Juanfran couldn't sort out his feet, Alba had a cross shot parried and there were a couple of long range shots
But Cech would be favourite to save all of those comfortably, which he did

They haven't really had that many chances. They have only really tested Cech once or twice.

Another case where I think the pundits are over praising the big team. Spain have been good but they aren't creating enough chances. They need someone to be clinical rather than always looking to pass.
