Some great last bit defending there by Spain.

Czechs are putting some terrific balls in to the box. Almost the breakthrough.

The one good quality the Czechs have shown when they've gone forward has been the quality of their crossing.

Far more even game than it's been up to now.

Spain don't look that solid at centre back here at the moment.

He is also too weak on his near post, he gets beat far too easily there for a keeper of his standing.
He always seemed to be slow getting down for long shots but don't know if this is still an issue

I honestly expected more of Spain, a supposedly world class team.

Don't often see a game in which Fabregas' most memorable contribution after 60 minutes is a goal line clearance.

Such a squandered opportunity then.

Yeah he doesn't fill me with great confidence, but he does seem to be the best we have, although I am a fan of Forester and Butland.

The Spanish really don't like the first-time shot, do they?

Silva's shooting really is his biggest weakness.

Sheesh, this is painful to watch. Can only imagine how painful it'd be if I were Czech.

Well they lost their first match in the group stages when they won the World Cup, so first matches might not be their cup of tea.

Yeah, a far better creator of chances then one of taking them.

I don't think Forster is an improvement on Hart, but I was really looking forward to seeing Jack Butland in this tournament. Terribly sad he was injured and couldn't make it.
