Yeah, a far better creator of chances then one of taking them.
I think Silva has had a poor season for City, not sure he has been fit for most of it. The shot he pulled is entirely in keeping with his season.

Well, this is looking more and more like a 0-0.

Especially after the disappointment of the World Cup, I really expected Spain to turn it on this afternoon and put on a bit of a show.

The performance has been okay but they just don't look like scoring and they've nearly been caught out themselves a couple of times.

I don't think Forster is an improvement on Hart, but I was really looking forward to seeing Jack Butland in this tournament. Terribly sad he was injured and couldn't make it.
Yeah when he is back fit, he should be our number one, he is better than Hart, and has a better presence about him.

Yeah, I agree there, I thought that by his high standards of recent seasons, last season was perhaps the worst since he signed for City.

What a vital tackle that was!

For one moment, I thought Iniesta was going to go round all of them.

Thought that was the moment.

One of those days for Spain.

Their style doesn't work anymore. Teams have learned how to defend against it. They look no different than they were 2 years ago.

They take too long to do anything and it allows teams to organise.

I'm beginning to wonder if he's starting to decline. He's looked decent enough today but hasn't done anything out of the ordinary.

They still seem to be in the tiki-taka rut that everyone else has moved on from. They're a team of playmakers and passers with little inic is forward drive.

Amazing last ditch tackle!

Is De Gea having a nice kip, as he really is not having much to do at the moment.

Yeah perhaps now might be City's last chance to get a big fee for him, as he does still have a reputation, the longer he continues to have poor form, the less money thatched could be looking to get for him.

Shocking defending there, left Cech with no chance.
