Apparently Marco's fiancée, Kim Melville-Smith, has taken to Twitter to explain that they are not in an open relationship:

‎@KJmelvillesmith
Fyi I said #hallpass NOT open relationship. I don't watch bb, but I heard this today. Worst thing I can't even talk to him #bbuk #bbmarco

Ah.. okay. A 'hallpass' you say? What did you mean by that, and what do you think Marco thought it meant?!

Clear as mud.

Who cares anymore.
She must know what he's like. No way would he stay faithful to anyone.

She'll be on BOTS soon telling us her side of it and will get paid handsomely for any old twaddle she spouts.

I suppose the important thing is that she got a few #hashtags in, so her Tweet will be trending in no time.

I would think a Hall Pass means if your in there months and something happens it happens.

But Marco didn't even let Laura hit the bottom step before he pounced on her.

This is what I thought too - mind you I do wonder what attracted her to the immature, attention seeking, not particularly attractive rich kid in the first place

I read that she had orchestrated him being in as is friends with an exec producer. I wouldn't bee surprised if she ends up in the house herself soon...

So you think a 'hallpass' is where you're in a relationship, but if you're away from your fiancée for long enough then it's okay to be unfaithful?

What difference would a few weeks make here or there if he's publically playing sex games with some other woman, sucking on her tits and climbing into bed with her if they're not in an open relationship?!

"Darling, I want to marry you and all, but do you mind if I have sex with other women?"
"Yes, of course I mind! You're my fiancé!"
"But.. what if I'm away from you for a few months?"
"Oh, in that case you can f*ck whoever you like!"
"Woohoo! #Hallpass! "

I agree. It's pathetic.

I don't agree with it at all.

I just saw it as more if he was locked away for months with someone and after some time something ended up happening she wouldn't dump him over it.

But if it isn't a set up I woupd guess she meant wait longer than it takes the launch show to finish.

Well, if you communicate with your fiancé using movie titles as shorthand then you might expect some confusion, but being engaged normally involves monogamy. If you have to actually explain that to somebody then perhaps it's too soon to be engaged to them.

They had already met socially. He recognised her.

Maybe it's to do with the semantics of the words?

'Hall pass' is maybe more of a short-term thing where one lets their partner fool around with others for a period of time (i.e. when Marco's in Big Brother). Maybe she didn't like the term 'open relationship' because it implies that she too might be/might want to sleep around?

Regardless of the terms, I'm just surprised she thinks Marco is in any way, marriage material.

He started by saying hall pass and then moved to open relationship. I guess depending on your thinking on these things the two are different. Last night was cringeworthy. What has happened to this great country of ours.

Maybe it explains why he's not been reprimanded for any of his behaviour yet (the threatening, the break out, ripping the microphone from the ceiling).

All it does is remind me of that Mrs Merton question with Debbie Magee, ' so Debbie what first attracted you to multi-milionaire Paul Daniels?'

As I understand it, a hall pass means one partner gives 'permission' for the other partner to stray on a specific occasion, eg a stag do, a holiday, or x number of weeks (or days) in Big Brother. It's a one-off. An open relationship is one in which both partners are free to go elsewhere at any time.

So for the time being there's no difference between the two? And yet his fiancée seemed a bit miffed. I wonder why.
