The premise of BB is that it is a reality show to watch how people behave ...
Well guess what . . . this is exactly how people behave these days !!

You may not agree with it and might not want to see it, but YOU chose to watch it.
CH5 warn you scenes are going to be offensive, that is your queue to look/go elsewhere.

CH5 are not forcing you to sit there watching it like a scene from Clockwork Orange

Instead of coming on here complaining that it is offensive or "a new low", why don't you simply switch off/over.

It's true though... Had to laugh the other day, as people were complaining about 'Springwatch' being too graphic about nature. Killing other animals, reproducing etc. I thought, what the hell were you expecting? Fluffy bunny rabbits and the occasional little bird tweeting? This is nature! Rather than complain, just change the bleeding channel!

Same goes for BB. I understand folk thinking the whole sexual activity thing was too much, I agree, but people were warned plenty of times.

By that logic if you don't like what people are saying you don't have to read this forum

'Reality', you're kidding I hope.

This show is probably more scripted than any on TV these days.

I'm not complaining. I want to see whatever the HMs get up to, warts and all, and I don't believe that any sort of broadcasting standards were breached or anything.

Having said that, I wish the producers wouldn't pick the type of vacuous personalities who think that this is what people want to see on TV. If I wanted to watch pornography I've got the Internet. On Big Brother I'd prefer to see the subtle nuances of human behaviour than watch two empty-heads dry humping all day.

I haven't said that I am against people voicing their opinion, everyone is entitled to theirs.

But voice it & move on.

People shouldn't complain about an episode and then continue to watch the series & constantly post on this forum about how much they are offended.

Oh good. It was only a few days ago that I was berated as some sort of killjoy for pointing out when a couple of people had mistold a classic joke. (link)

Who's complaining

Most on here are loving the car crash TV as it unfolds, you have to laugh at how bad it has become as BB is letting the inmates call the shots and run the asylum

Twist has gone to pieces, and it's nice to laugh at them when it all goes wrong as when it does go wrong it does go VERY wrong

Think the only thing people may be uncomfortable with was the X rated stuff from Marco and Bieber's BOTS, and also people being let back in when they have gone through the fire escape

But it could get boring if they are only going to focus on those two and all of the arguing, which is what they think we want to see.....

I wouldn't worry about it most of us have been in your place at some time or other.
Not nice but you try to move on and stay positive.

It reminds me of Wrestling in the 80's everybody knows it's "fake" (well it's all scripted and predetermined) but they try to present it as real.

It didn't bother me in the slightest.

It's still reality. All the housemates know exactly what is expected and they are playing up to it. Marco has come in with his own script, look at how much he is using the camera.

Even if they dragged in 12 people from macdonalds, they would still play up to the show.

This a turning into a great series. The only problem will be the last month which will seem boring by comparison to these early shows.

Why 'shouldn't' they? Surely the whole point of this forum is so that people can express their opinions. Like you did. Like I'm doing. More to the point, if you don't like people complaining on the forum, avoid those threads!

Personally, I'm not talking about the forum. Of course people should share their own views. That's the whole point, no? I'm talking about those who have no interest in BB but see fit to complain (e.g. to Ofcom) about it anyway because they have nothing better to do.

Tune in, be warned numerous times, yet still be disgusted enough to file a formal complaint against the programme.

I'll reserve my right to not like two wannabes writhing on each other in full view of others, strangling each other and calling one another "c**t", thank you.
