The mere thought of anyone thinking that BB is a reality show is even more entertaining.

Tune in, be warned numerous times, yet still be disgusted enough to file a formal complain against the programme.”

Yes, that's my point, maybe I am not getting it across clearly enough.

Sorry but that's not how people behave , maybe in private but not in public .
Marco/Laura have no regard for the others in that house , they will do what they want when they want regardless of the other Hms and how uncomfortable it may make them feel. But I did laugh at Marco/Laura both checking out the camera's were on them .I also found it interesting that Georgia told BB that Marco had calmed down but since his return from the "breakout" on Friday he was back to his mad self...I wonder how that was

I'm a big fan of BB, have watched all the UK series, US, Canada and some Aus and this current UK series is really cringe and not entertaining at all so far. There are too many vulgar characters and not enough ordinary people who just say funny things. The porn is inappropriate. My friend watches with her young teen children, she must be mortified.
That said at the eviction when Laura said 'Why are they chanting get Laura out' I did snigger

If your friend is allowing their young teen to watch this then they are not responsible enough to be mortified.
It is not suitable viewing for people likely to be offended.

I'm def with you on that op. Also the people who every year come on here and post about how bad the show is now should also not be watching/posting here. Or at-least they could stick to one official "the show is sh** now thread".

Luckily it's not up to you to control what people can and can't post.

I can see your point as regards the people who think the show should be cancelled should stop watching rather than calling it to be axed. However people who have loved the show over the years have every right to critique the way its gone since channel 5 got their mitts on it.

Not all of us are fans of the constant fighting and showmancing, and have the right to critique the show

The show has to evolve yes, but we have the right to express our opinion on something we may not like without being told where to go

After all isn't that the entire point of this forum, so people can have a viewpoint if it is within acceptable boundaries

Exactly what I have done, thanks.

Every year for the last few I've felt like switching off and usually something will draw me back, after all I do love the show when its done properly.

However, launch night this year made it easy for me, Every single housemate was off the chart in terms of narcissism. Usually there are a few normal folks on there and and this gives me a little entertainment watching in the hope that they stick it to the narcissists.

Still checking in here just incase it makes a turn for the better, but I have to say not watching has been easier than ever! If I ever get the urge to watch I'll just think of Ryan and Marco's orange little faces.

So far this year I have watched after I have recorded it so can forward through anything Marco does (awful hm) but think this year has been awful so far hardly a decent human in their , shame but think I will not see this one through. But even so will probably still come on to the forum to see what is happening let others watch it and I will read the threads I want to.I feel I am getting to old to enjoy watching these youngsters and what they get up to , and all the rows they just seem to scream at each other for the sake of it. I personally won!dn't complain because I choose to watch the show no one made me and to be fair we know what bb has become over the last few years

Well guess what . . . this is exactly how people behave these days !!

You may not agree with it and might not want to see it, but YOU chose to watch it.
CH5 warn you scenes are going to be offensive, that is your queue to look/go elsewhere.

CH5 are not forcing you to sit there watching it like a scene from Clockwork Orange

Instead of coming on here complaining that it is offensive or "a new low", why don't you simply switch off/over.”

Feel better now? Has it not occurred to you that people watch it to be offended. I have watched since series one and it has always been the same. It was pretty tame in the early years compared to now and people still moaned and then watched it the following night.

I feel the point of the forum is more to critique the housemates rather than the show itself, though obviously not all the time. It's just annoying when your talking about housemates and someone comes into the thread saying "who cares its all fake" "don't you know they're acting". It's obv not quite trolling but sometimes close to it when people here aren't willing to go along with the show and instead spend most of the time attacking it.

Me too, I watched opening night and then turned off for good, turning off the forum is harder though.

Its nothing a lot of couples arent doing behind closed doors al over the country.it was hardly heavy S&M.people being outraged is just playing into the hands of these two sad media whores.I thought it was cringey and slightly pathetic.

"Instead of coming on here complaining that it is offensive or "a new low", why don't you simply switch off/over? "

I don't know if you've noticed the always declining viewing figures, but more and more disappointed loyal BB viewers, are doing that already.
If it wasn't for the few remaining, who come on here to let off steam by complaining about the retarded shitfest that their beloved show has become, it would've been cancelled already for poor ratings.

I care about Big Brother as a concept, a brand and ulimately it is an international brand with great history. When i see it being bought up by mtv and turned into a shatter of it's former self i feel like fighting back with opinions. To just change the channel is not an option If you hope to see other people get airtime and for the concept to be restored. I do not want every show to be a version of Geordie shore...

I gave up on both BBs over a year ago, just not for me anymore but this is a great forum, so it was a shame to give that up too but I just didn't enjoy watching it anymore. Miss everyone though.
