I've watched Big Brother for a long, long time. I don't expect to see people choking each other. I don't complain to Ofcom however, just complain about Marco and Laura in here

That being said, I can see why people would complain about this.

The warnings were there, or can't those 252 (or possibly more) dingbats read or hear

OFCOM will dismiss this as they do every complaint about this show

Surely these people know what the show is like especially in this era, it's been on 5 years now and given Five's reputation especially when it first started

Granted it was uncomfortable viewing and I do hope TPTB don't think it's what we want to see every single day while those two are still in there

I wish she had done the job properly...

Didn't you see him look at the camera before he laid down.

And she is showing herself up.

Letting him maul her like he is. She can't walk past him without him putting his hands

all over her.

And the silly slobbery kissing, with sound effects.

Don't they know we have all kissed people before.

And you don't need to sound like a drain..

I seriously think people complain for the sake of complaining, despite the warnings.

I think BB deserved it last night. They went to far.
No I didn't complain to OFCOM what ever they are called.

I'm surprised there wasn't more.

They actually had something worth complaining about.

I agree. I'm no prude. But wasn't expecting that.

For God sake, what is wrong with people? Did you expect her to actually murder him on tv? Some people need to seriously get a life and get out more if they actually complain about things like this. As for the spiel someone usually spouts about how children will be influenced...Big Brother is not a children's tv show. Children should not be watching it. Of course though, we know that some children will end up watching it. I was certainly watching BB1 when I was 12 years old. However, if a child decides they should strangle someone based on seeing it on a tv show then that's an issue with the child/parenting, not with the tv programme. When I was 12 years old and watching BB1 I would never dream of copying something like that, and there's an issue with any child who would. It's not the tv channel or the tv programme's responsibility to parent people's children.

You do realise there are some adults that should not be watching either.

Don't tell people to get a life just because you can't understand there opinion on this matter. It's rude and uncalled for.

I'm more annoyed that Big Brother did not give him any talking to or warning for any of his actions yesterday. I don't get why Big Brother is more relaxed this year. Yes it's good if they sometimes rebel, but gosh - tampering with fixtures and fittings, smashing out of fire exit, threatening behaviour - just brushed over.

So what do you suggest should happen with shows such as Eastenders then? Should characters not be murdering people, walloping them with irons, pushing them off buildings just incase children watch it and copy it? Any child who copies something like this is an issue with the child.

I can understand people's opinion...but nobody has explained a valid reason why it should not have been shown.

What were you expecting after the repeated warnings A kiss?
who, me?

Whether or not it 'should' have been shown, the fact that BB did not immediately stop it and issue a warning is, for me, the point. Asphyxiation during sex has killed a fair few people.

No.
I'm not a child but have standards.

Also, people keep talking about the warnings: it's fairly obvious to me that those 'warnings' are actually titillation to get higher ratings. The wording makes that clear. You can issue warnings in very standard, unfrilly language: Viewers are warned that the following segment contains scenes of a sexual nature which may disturb/distress some viewers.' But that's not what we're getting. We're getting highly colourful language (tabloid language) which actually encourages people to watch.

So the phrase "unsafe sexual practices" didn't make you think you should not watch? It wasn't a shock, we were repeatedly warned it was about to happen.

The only thing about it that bothered me was the whole tit sucking. That disturbed me more than anything.

Exactly. Asphyxiation probably doesn't cover 'sexual content' in most people's book.
