Don't worry, I'm not one of 'the complainers' (that sounds like a really crappy band name) in this debate.

I watch BB because I always have. I wouldn't complain, people were warned, but it doesn't mean people can't voice their opinions that it was a bit much. And it was.

It was at the start of the show and at every ad break up to the incident.

Just had a look back. There was also "extremely risky sexual activity that may distress some viewers".

But you can word anything you like but you don't really know how far it's going to go.
I'm not that bothered to be honest as BB just getting more trashy every series.

Big Brother is all about shocking and it always has been, even as far back as BB1. Housemates naked and mudwrestling pressing their naked bodies all over the walls, a housemate masturbating openly in the middle of the garden with a bottle, two housemates having sex in a swimming pool, racism rows, housemates threatening to kill each other, housemates physically fighting, a housemate spitting at another housemate. The show thrives on shocking. Marco and Laura were being stupid, but I can't see why on earth someone would phone Ofcom. Did people actually think they were going to witness her murdering him?

I've been a fan for a long time so I do know what to expect to a certain extent.
But last night took the show to a new level.

But it wasn't Asphyxiation. They were two idiots who were messing about with each other, watched by a whole load of cameras.

I'm guessing you didn't watch BB5 then when they were all sucking the girls tits in the middle of the lounge? Or BB6 when Kinga shoved a bottle up her vagina in the middle of the garden?

It's not pathetic either. I have never complained but people do have a right
to complain. But some people go over the top at the slightest little thing.

And several older teens have died in recent years due to some internet asphyxiation challenge
It was uncomfortable viewing, mainly because he was clearly doing it for the camera, the fact he is gross and creepy.

My memories of the Kinga scene was more of the shocked faces of Craig and Anthony that told the story without them having to show the full graphic details. Imagine how different that scene would've been had this channel 5 production team been in charge.
Sometimes less is more, definitely true in Marco and Laura's case.

I'd love to meet some ppl who complain to ofcom, in fact I would love to go work for them have a good laugh, I've worked in a complaints department and you find its always the same people I bet certain complainers are well known to the ppl of ofcom lol.

If your easily offended you shouldnt watch the programme, only thing I would against BB is that over the last 2/3 years they have put far too many warnings up for bad language, nudity, violence etc, that I have simply stopped paying any attention to them, so when something really significant is about to come up I and im sure others would miss the warning, not that these things bother me anyway.

I don't have an issue with Big Brother airing the scene, even though I could barely watch it. I have an issue with the lack of warning issued - and I don't mean those pathetic meaningless ones which they now use to draw in viewers. As said sexual asphyxiation has killed people before and will do so again; it shouldn't be presented as acceptable practice.

I think people complain about this show for joke, no way can people be this serious about the show. I think they complain just to see how many complaints the show can get.

But it wasn't asphyxiation. If there was any risk of asphyxiation then of course they should have stepped in, but it was just two horny idiots with their hands all over each other...one of them putting something around the others neck and dominating him while he lay there enjoying. She wasn't strangling him to death. Were you worried she was going to murder him? What you saw during that scene is what many, many people doing in their own homes all the time.
