Laura clearly is a slut with no self respect”

And? That has no relation whatsoever to the scene that was shown last night.

Too right. I didn't complain to Ofcom but they should have called them both to the diary room the first time she strangled him.

Agreed, the behaviour should have been stopped by bug brother.

Yes, this really. I'm no prude and I've no objection to seeing it, but it wouldn't be what I tune into BB to see,my choice of what I want to see or really even necessary for them to show (except that it brings about talk and interest, which is the makes Marco the best thing to happen to TPTB this series!).

I wouldn't complain but, as you say, I'm not surprised some did.

Can't help but laugh rather childishly at that typo

BTW Ofcom have just released a breakdown of the specific complaints relating to the incident:

- There was one complaint regarding the use of unacceptably offensive sexual language during the incident.

- There were two complaints arguing that showing dangerous sexual practices could malignly influence suggestible viewers.

- There were 249 complaints that Laura didn't pull on the chain so tight that the rancid little c*ckwomble's eyeballs popped out from his sockets, his windpipe became irreparably crushed, and his wretched, vacuous little heart stopped beating for all eternity.

Yawn, you'd think BB was The Little House on the Prairie the way some people go on... Can not believe people complained about this, despite the warnings. Utterly ridiculous.

I wonder how many Ofcom complainers have a copy of 50 shades on their bookshelf. The hypocracy and prudish behaviour is amazing in this day and age.

It reminded me of Mean Girls when Regina George's mother's lapdog starts gnawing on her nipple and she doesn't even notice.

It was pretend choking---Marco even said the safety was on (belt notched). Also Laura had a hand at both ends of the belt and was pulling each end so there was no pressure around his neck and just pressure on the belt between both of her hands....imo
It didn't bother me but I still can't stand Marco!

OFCOM will dismiss this as they do every complaint about this show

Surely these people know what the show is like especially in this era, it's been on 5 years now and given Five's reputation especially when it first started

Granted it was uncomfortable viewing and I do hope TPTB don't think it's what we want to see every single day while those two are still in there”

This sums it up for me too Richie. The warnings were extreme and sufficient enough.

Their only error was omitting to warn the public to not try this at home

Not for me. Not submissive enough to let anyone do that. Belts are for jeans/trousers , possibly for use on bums too. Anyone tries to choke me their arse would be defined with my hand prints! And the imprint of the belt! But fine if that's what two adults want to do go right ahead.

The way I see it is that it's an adult show shown after the watershed. And even then they put out numerous warnings after each ad break.
So I find it very difficult to see how people can complain about something they felt was a bit offensive to them.

There might be occasions where it's appropriate to complain, but I don't think something like this is one of them.
