Would unkown housemates been better suited this year?

Would they have kept the secret house more of a secret?

The ego of these "known" housemates has caused them to just do what they want .

Yes and yes.

I don't think so.

I personally think the cast is perfect and should not be manipulated. Doesn't need it

Yes
Because they seem to adding housemates with a reality television show background, so therefore they are already aware what makes a great television show. Where as amatuers makes it feel less contrived and scripted.

Problem is now pretty much everyone is like that they are all clones of another one.

At one time the attention seeking wannabee was the only one or at most two a year where the rest was pretty normal.

Now finding a normal one is more rare than Bigfoot riding on the back of The Lock Ness Monster sightings.

Normal - define "normal"

Unknown - I don't/didn't know any of them.

Only knew who Marco was when someone pointed it out.
Only knew about Ryan when I saw a forum post pointing out all his hilariously diva X-factor clips.

I believe there would be a more varied set of discussion topics if "normal" people were in there.
All the current housemates are interested in is what they look like or who they have shagged.

Had to feel sorry for Andy in his diary room chat about having no one to have an intellectual conversation with.
