It's crazy. It does not reflect well on them; seriously, what is wrong with them?

That tree hugger one. How can she witter on about negative energy, peace and love and trees and stuff when she's so in awe of one of the most unpleasant, shallow, obnoxious tw*ts ever to set foot in the house!

Full of it they are. All because he's got money. Good on Georgina for seeing through it.”

Yes, but I hope she plays it cool and doesn't blow it. She could alienate herself and find herself ostracised if she plays it too heavily and goes in too hard and too much on Marco's negative traits. The others don't want to hear it, although I suspect Andy and Jason may feel the same way as she does. Marco doesn't really hang out with most of the guys.

She needs to find similarly minded allies.

Yes, good point - to go in too hard it will backfire on her because none of his minions will want to hear it. And they certainly wouldn't want to have to justify keeping in with such a twit. It would show them up for what they are - shallow and lacking integrity - so they will absolutely turn on her.

All a bit Emperor's New Clothes. Ish.

She'd have to play it very carefully with that lot of dingbats.

If she does play it correctly it'll mean she could achieve what Andrew never did.

I can honestly say Marco would be my worst nightmare, a true livewire. I worry about what else we'll get from him.....my prediction would be ejected. The guys a grade a moron!!!! The worst hm to date.

Little boy with daddy issues, he simply wants attention its sad and pathetic that people are attracted to this cretin.

The actual psychology of Marco is fascinating which is why I want to keep him around. He's clearly got major issues, and I'd love to see his facade breaking down (as the time wears on him) so we can see it. He's a complete tool, but the few 'real' moments we've had of him are intriguing. I need Laura out so he's forced to let go of the hyper-sexualized showmance crap, and let his real crazy shine. He seems genuinely 'afraid' of Georgina, because she isn't worshipping him, and Lateysha seems like she's trying to build a real connection with him. He's a huge man-child begging for love and attention which can be entertaining as hell.

So yeah, sorry, gotta keep Marco to be the catalyst, and start weeding out the sycophant support system he's created.

That is obviously a huge part of it, but it is also how BIG Marco's personality is. I imagine, for some people, that can be pretty infectious for a short period of time. I would not want to be Laura or Evelyn who he is hyper-sexual with, but I (maybe) could handle his more affectionate-friend side that comes out with Lateysha and Emma/Victoria. He's playing a character right now, but that is a part of him. When he told Andrew he had split-personality, I think that's pretty true. Not in a medical sense (who knows), but in who/what he puts out to the world. He has his quieter, more vulnerable moments, but the house hasn't broken him down enough to really see who he is.

[I feel like I have to post a disclaimer saying I don't think Marco is a great human being. Kind of the opposite, to be honest, but nice guys usually make the most boring HM's. Even if I end up loathing him, at least I remember his name when he comes on screen.]

When I can bear to watch Marco I can't shake the feeling that his mostly over-the-top and inane behaviour is calculated to irrevocably "punish / shame "his parents on a public stage. I think he is more calculating than he wants those around him to believe .

What I find intriguing are those moments of hesitation where he states it's "because it might ruin my career " What career ?
Perhaps a lifelong fixture on SOTS ?
Hopefully he will be ejected for something outrageous before that to spare us
.... ?

He is just a boring person who is covered in tattoos, nothing more to him at all. None of the other girls in the house would look at him, Laura would get with anyone. His comment about his shoes was arguably the most cringey moment in big brother history, along with Chelseas outburst at Ryan when he suddenly turned street.

What did Georgina do to redeem herself in your eyes?

Two things. Her comment to the twin about 'energy sh*t', I think she called it; I too would find that nonsense hard to stomach, particularly coming from someone who seems very taken with Marco, who, to me, seems a very unpleasant, superficial and draining person.

And her comments about Marco in the diary room. I think Marco has a little crew in there who seem to want to keep in with him and I thought she had him to a tee - he is like a 6 year old in a 21 yr old body and he would be very very draining to be around.
