Not now they've shown their boobs to the world (well 2 of them have!).

I hope Georgina stays, she seems to be one of the few who seems not to be falling for the Marco brainwash.

I also got that feeling tonight. I actually really like that about her, but I don't think that's their aim with her.

They want Laura to stay with the whole Marco thing, and I don't really know which of the others would go instead...

I hope not she has only just started to go up in my estimation. She is one of the few who does not kow tow to the tattooed idiot.

I thought she absolutely showed herself to be in the right over Emma tonight - who I had previously liked, but tonight just came across as a moany so-and-so.

The remaining twin might go

Georgina won't last the distance on VTE, jealous girls will vote her out but she would be a sure fire finalist on VTS . ugh I prefer the celeb version .

No, they're not setting Georgina up for Eviction. Indeed, on BOTS they're loving Georgina's bitching about Emma (the remaining twin, not the BB presenter).

Why on earth would she be a sure finalist if it was VTS?

No I think tonight's edit was designed for us to be cheering her for telling hippydippy where to get off tbh.

I assume because so far she seems to have built quite a fan Base for this early stage.

They better not, she is one of the only bearable ones!

I don't get the love for her. Seems up herself and has an air of superiority and thinks she's better than everyone else. Not my cup of tea.

Well she's certainly going to be up as Marco will marshal his harem against her.

I don't think so - I think they are finally showing some of the rest of the house and at least one housemate who isn't in 'team Marco'. You could say perhaps they are setting Marco up to topple from his ivory tower.

If Georgina plays her cards cleverly and finds others in the house who aren't as enamoured with Marco (I would say Andy could be one) and they don't make it too obvious, ostracise themselves from Marco's harem, then we could finally have a game going.

Marco and his lot need to have some opposition or else it'll just be their show for weeks on end which will be as dull as ditch water (it already is!), so it's terrific that we are seeing somebody who isn't being taken in by it all. It just depends upon how Georgina plays it in my book.

She needs to keep enough people on-side to not be nominated too much, although the public are a troublesome factor if she is nominated, as well as The Others being a cog in the wheel - they don't seem to be targeting Marco either, which I find rather strange but also predictable. He is Marco Pierre White Jr after all

It seems an 'underdog heroine' narrative for Georgina is now being constructed in this forum, even though she may be the least deserving HM ever attempted to be cast in that role.

I hope she stays - she represents some refreshing opposition to the other dummies and their twit leader Marco. How can they tolerate that guy? He talks shite and when not doing that just mimics Sounds of Safari Vol. 1.

I don't mind Sarah to be honest, despite her being doorstop dumb, but she must get away from Marco. And Evelyn... has she evaporated yet?

Yes, keep Georgina IN please!

It will be interesting to know who BBs favourites are.
So far Marco is a strong favourite

It's interesting how we determine people as being deserving or not. It really comes from who they're compared with. When I met Deana Uppal at auditions, she came across as quite arrogant and judgmental. I recall another person auditioning telling her that she'd probably be evicted first.

Personally I grew to really like Deana and I'm glad she did so well, but I don't think she would have done had it not been for the bullying she received. She's a nice girl, but very proud and opinionated and she's quite uncompromising with her viewpoints... there's nothing wrong with that, but it often doesn't go down will with viewers, especially from female Housemates.

HA! Yes, I do mean Laura! Usually it takes a few minutes after the series has ended before I forget their names, but this lot! Dishwater!

Georgina is the only person I'm truly rooting for at this point, so I hope not. That said, I don't think BB wants her out considering she is the only person in there who is willing to manage Marco, and doesn't buy into Emma's schtick. I actually think Marco is a bit scared of her. He acts big and bad around the group, but when he actually followed her into the house he let her walk all over him. Then later, he even voiced to Emma that he didn't want to upset Georgina, and make enemies. I think his desire to be liked, and have attention could prove interesting around Georgina if they both stay in there long enough to have to spend time together.

Emma, on the other hand, is actually a stronger personality than Marco, and I think she and Georgina will continue to clash. Georgina is going to do her thing, and Emma is going to act like she's the glitter glowbug who is bestowing her constant light upon them all... so they're going to spark big time. I really can't stand Emma at this point, and would have lost my shit if she tried to tell me what I could talk about, especially when it had zero to do with her. I'm clearly biased though, because I find Georgina's moaning hilarious, especially in the diary room.

P.S. Anyone noticing how Georgina and Marco have basically split the house into camps with Jackson and Alex gone (clearly the middle men)? Georgina has Andy, Chelsea
(surprised actually), Jason and Leteysha swarming around her. Marco has Laura, Evelyn, Emma and Sam with him. As much as I want Jackson and Alex back, I want Georgina/Marco to really get into more before the peacemakers return, because I think once the boys are back Marco is going to dial it back a bit, and that will make Georgina simmer down as well.

I'm not quite sure what you have in mind with Deana as an example, because you say 'deserving' comes from who they're compared with, but you don't compare Deana with anyone. Did you intend an implicit comparison between Deana and Georgina, perhaps one in which Deana was seen as less deserving because she wouldn't have done so well if not for the bullying?

Anyway, I think Georgina's popularity illustrates one of the ways views of HMs often make more sense if they're seen as 'backwards'. That is, rather than people liking Georgina because of the various things they (now) mention, the liking came first and then shaped views of the 'various things'. (Notice, for instance, Georgina's behind-backs bitching being seen as "hilarious moaning" above.) We can also see dislike for certain other HMs (Marco, Emma) being translated into popularity for Georgine, so that much of her popularity is the flip-side of that dislike.

This sort of thing has happened again and again over the years, but Georgina seems to be the least deserving beneficiary of it yet.

I'll just respond to this part since you referenced my post. They ALL bitch behind each others backs. That's the nature of the game. I see a difference between bitching and moaning - or at least my definitions of them. I feel like Georgina is a constant moaner, the day is shit, the water is too warm, etc. I'm not saying she's an amazing person or I would even hang out with her in real life, but in terms of the show she's entertaining me. She's one of the only ones in there who isn't afraid to say to people's faces what she bitches about when they're not there. What I find hilarious is she doesn't give a shit.

Also, for me personally, I don't necessarily like Marco, but I want him in the house. He's another huge character, and I think he and Georgina are great foils for one another. I'm actually entertained by Marco when he's not acting out this farce with Laura. He's nuts. Georgina is a moaner, etc. I didn't mind Emma until Vic left, and she started acting like a complete hypocrite/holier than thou bitch. She complains about Georgina (I give her credit for saying it to Georgina's face though), and in the next breath tries to control Marco/Laura's 'good time' because it bothers her... Andy annoys me as well, because he's complaining about her superficial everyone is, they suck, etc, but doesn't say that to their faces. I'm equal opportunity. No one wowed me off the bat, but as of Day 6 at least I can say a few are entertaining me, including Georgina's hilarious moaning.
