if they wanted us to think the housemates didn't know about the other house why would they show is marco casually revealing it? and also show us all the housemates hearing hughie and natalie's argument?

They tell us they haven't spoken about it in the diary room which means they have spoken about it with each other. Why would they mention it in the DR? They probably wouldn't expect BB to engage them in a conversation about it, they'd expect them to keep up with the pretense, which they have until yesterday.

Because they haven't got any footage they could cobble together to tell a storyline that didn't let it slip, as it's the only topic of conversation in the house other than sex

The only time we will properly know is tonight during the live twist, that's if something happens.
