10% of the population of Iceland has travelled down there to watch, that's quite a crazy proportion! Then again, their population is only 323,000.
in 2014 Iceland had 58 players with professional European clubs and a further 23 players in European clubs youth academies......

So that's 1 in every 2000 Icelandic men is a pro footballer.......

if you scaled that up to England there'd de 25,000 English pro footballers in Europe which would probably fill every club in every league......
