Can't comment on the WiFi but you could always use those powerline adapter things if the box isn't close to your router

Cheers. Tom

I would say unlikely. If it is possible then there would be a dongle you could buy to do the job and it would likely be mentioned in the manual. It is unlikely that any old WiFi adapter could be used however. There is no mechanism in most PVRs to load specific drivers for the dongle onto the device. So any WiFi capabilities probably rely on a specific embedded driver in the firmware of the PVR.

Therefore you may have to use a dongle with a specific compatible chipset to stand any chance of it working. If you are really unlucky the manufacturers make their own dongle and force you to use that, often at a price premium compared to the dongles you can buy for computer use.

If the PVR has an ethernet port you might be able to use a wireless adapter that connects via ethernet. The PVR won't know it is talking to a WiFi adapter so you will likely have to configure the adapter to connect to your WiFi network by plugging into a computer initially.

Yes, what you would need is a wireless bridge (around £10-£20). You can get ones with several ports so that you can connect multiple devices if you wish. If WiFi signal strength is going to be an issue, only then would I resort to powerline adapters. If your router has WPS and you get a wireless bridge that supports WPS connection also, it is usually a case of pressing the WPS button on your router and the pairing button on the bridge to get them to automatically link up.

TP-LINK TL-WR702N works fine with the T7650's Ethernet port, just needs initial setup via a PC.
