Group A: France vs Albania - (15/6/16) KO 8pm, ITV1/HD
The game will also be broadcast online at ITV Hub and on BBC Radio 5 Live and talkSPORT.
The home nation will be huge favourites for this clash but they have failed to beat Albania in their last 2 meetings. Their last encounter a year ago resulted in Albania recording their only ever victory against the French when they won 1-0. France have only kept 2 clean sheets in their last 17 matches at the Euros. Albania have lost their last 2 games but have not lost 3-in-a-row since October 2013. |

Going to go for 3-1 France here in a game where it'll be a good contest for an hour or so and then they'll pull away.

Now that France have got that vital, crucial and hard fought three points in their first game, I fully expect to see them relax a bit more, and play a bit more open and expansive football.
I can see this being a better win performance wise, and it ending up two or three nill to France. |

A match at a major tournament in 2016.... and Willie ****ing Collum is the referee.
Whatever the odds are on someone getting a red card by mistake, they're not short enough. |

------Kante-----Matuidi ???---------Payet--------??? -----------Giroud Rather than the 4-3-3 they started with last time and Payet wide. Pogba not necessarily trusted in a 2 man central midfield. |

If that's right it probably means:

I think that's quite an exciting French line-up. Plenty of pace in the wings, strength in the middle and the skill of Payet.

The thing about these smaller nations is once you go one or two up on them, you can easily get a few more because they realise they don't have the quality to get back into the match and their heads drop at the prospect of having to withstand further pressure.
Even though Albania were pretty solid against Switzerland, I could see them getting dominated tonight because the French will see this as an opportunity to make a bit of a statement. |

Yeah I like it. I actually prefer the ITV outside studio too with the view in the background, compared to the BBC indoors. |

Why have ITV picked up Mad Marion for this? She's bad enough on the tennis.

French is one of the best anthems for me, even if it does seem to be about slaughtering English usurpers

Clive Tyldesley is speaking French again. ITV are so bad at doing football, i don't know why they struggle so much with it.

No, it does sound a bit on the compressed side.
Or I was just going crazy. |
