EE: The conclusion of Babe/Les/Pam
First of all, I'd like to say that I hate all 3 of these characters. Les is the lesser of three evils, but his scenes make me cringe. Pam's judgmental view of Les' crossdressing is just a bit off, especially as she seems like one of the more sympathetic characters on the soap. As for Babe, the less said the better.
The ways I see the story ending - Claudette helps Les and gets Babe knocked off - A member of the Carter family (Whitney probably) finds out and it spreads that Babe is blackmailing Pam/Les Or the alternative ----- - It is Aunt Babe's birthday and Mick has thrown a do in The Queen Vic. The pub is full, the family are united with Sylvie there too with Mick. Everyone is in the pub, Pam is there albeit quietly with Paul, Ben, etc, after leaving Les alone at the house. Everyone sings Happy Birthday and Babe blows out the candles, and everyone claps until a burst through the pub doors gathers everyone's attention to the entrance. Aunt Babe looks at the door as if she's seen a ghost, everyone else looks on in shock at this new sight, everyone but Pam. Pam looks on as if her world has collapsed. She sees Christine, the feminine alter ego of husband Les'. Babe makes a snarky comment, and in term is a great monologue of self-acceptance and liberation from Les as he justifies his wardrobe. Pam looks on, frozen like a statue and Babe begins to panic realising she's been finally rumbled. Les/Christine opens up her handbag and reveals a handgun. Babe's eyes bulge as she is suddenly shot in the stomach and collapses to the floor. |

Claudette should just humiliate Babe somehow.

It's got to end with Les coming out, surely?

I don't understand why they don't just go to the police. Pam might think Les's croasdressing is embarrassing but Babe's committing an actual crime. I'm sure the police are gonna care more about that then what Les does in his spare time.

As long as it ends with Babe in a box I'll be happy.

I don't think many women are going to be totally happy with their husband dressing up in a dress every weekend and putting on makeup etc! |

its utterly ridiculous go to the police - end of story! Babe is pure evil - her comeuppance is surely imminent |

I still think dragnights in the ppu would allow les to frock up and Pam to frock up(what do crossdressing women wear?) Poor ol Les just wants to be a women now and then, the way she his wife is carrying on one would think him a pervert. My Nana said he releases his worries and tensions being a woman. and...and my granpa liked wearing her knickers.(No Nana didnt mind |
