I pad keeps losing WiFi connection
My ipad has suddenly lost connection to Home wifi.
My phone and laptop are fine. I've re entered bt wifi password and it connects for about 30 seconds then disconnects again... The ipad can see my home network when it is searching for connections but doesn't select it automatically... Each time it does, I have to enter the password... Sometimes it recognises password and joins network for 30 seconds or soso, sometimes have to re-enter password... Again it only stays connected for less than a minute... Any ideas please? I have done the old turn the ipad off properly for a minute and turned it back on! |

I have had this happen on a number of iPads at work.
The first option to try is "Forget this network" if you haven't already tried this. It sometimes sorts out an iffy connection. If Forget has no effect there is an option to reset the network settings which is a bit more drastic but I have found that if the WiFi really is determined to play silly buggers this is the only thing that makes it play nicely again. See http://www.imore.com/how-fix-wi-fi-n...phone-and-ipad Most of the screen shots on that page are from an iPhone but an iPad should be largely similar. |

Thanks Chris... Unfortunately that doesn't solve it... I did them both. I will go to the Apple store

Cheers Stig, rebooted router and did Chris's advice on the iPad. Sorted!
