England were the better side but I must say, I was hoping Wales would hang on at the end there. They were so resolute at the back, but no outlet to hang on to the ball. But the positive changes we were all calling for paid off and the pressure eventually paid off.
I hope everyone who got on Hodgson's back after the Russia match will give him the plaudits he deserves for recognising the first half deficiencies and acting decisively.
Have a slight feeling that Wales's heroic defending might have deserved a point - but not much of one.
Full credit to Hodgson for making the right substitutions.
One thing I have learned - Alli is very limited; lots of energy but mostly used without much imagination, flair or creativity. Is Wilshere match fit or not?
