Me too. This win would be so much sweeter if if had been against Russia instead of Wales. I want Wales to continue through. They are our brothers.

Hardly papers over the cracks.

That team's really going to frighten others isn't it.

Why should Roy get praise? It was his fault England where losing and that England hasn't scored.

Exactly ,, it was dreadful in the first half,, the second half just became do or die , not really clever tactical management , we can't continue to play like this

Same. Good to have players of Bale and Ramsey's quality at the tournament.

****ing get in!

For 92 minutes that was sheer bloody torture. I did not think England had it in them to come back like that (first time ever an England team has come from behind at half time to win a game at a tournament).

If Sturridge doesn't score there I think England were going out, now we are top of the group through to the next round and a decent chance to win the group.

PS I still hate that Sturridge goal dance, even when it comes after a last minute England winner.

Or alternatively, he could start some goalscorers and 'rest' legless Kane and headless Sterling.

Finally ROy decides to bring on his best striker! Sturridge HAS to start he is our best player let alone best striker. Vardy should also start. Kane for whatever reason has just not turned up.

Better for that to happen now rather than the knockout stage. Hopefully Roy will now learn from this and it will help England push on.

Weird result, as someone said England would be very lucky to get anything because Wales won their game whereas we drew.

It's like one game doesn't automatically define the next

Woy needs to earn his money now for the next game and make some big decisions,, changes need to be made tactically and players , only how we set up and play against Slovakia will show if he has anything about him

Especially strange because England were apparently rubbish all throughout the game too.

No complaints, england deserved the win. We were just crap. Didnt play at well. Roy doesnt deserve any praise though, its obvious sturridge and vardy should have started before the game even kicked off

Bit they then didn't lose and did score, so if he's getting criticised for one he gets credit for the other, or we're in an argument where he only is held responsible for what goes wrong.

I think that they definitely will, Russia are abysmal.

Come on Russia beat these lot and we draw with Slovakia. Job done.

And that is why you take Sturridge if he's fit. The guy scores goals, and it'd have been a tremendously stupid decision not to bring him.

A draw against Slovakia sees us through, let's do it!

We were lucky to get three points, scoring in injury time does have more than a mere hint of luck about it.

We were not good, we played better against Russia, yet we didn't win that match.

Then everyone on here who was calling for the changes deserve credit as well ,, it was hardly a difficult decision to make, we could all see the faults, the only real surprise was Woy actually making the changes

coleman has to take responsibility for that. straight from the 2nd half wales were sitting way too deep.

I will always argue that sturridge is england's best striker. on pure ability the guy cannot be touched. When fit he would be first name on the sheet for me.

Kane had another shocker and sterling was very poor again.
