Yeah I know what you're saying, Mark was also very annoying but at least he got stuck in and did tasks and all that. He did what was expected of him and what he signed up for.

I like Ryan. I find him entertaining. It's strange because I found Mark really grating last year, maybe I will feel the same about Ryan in a few weeks. I like the way he randomly comes out with one liners on the spur of the moment that make me laugh.

Also he also reminds me a lot of the wrestler Rockstar Spud.

I much prefer Ryan to the odious Marco!

Seems to be a common theme with Ryan.....wanting to be somebody else. First there was Mark, then Sam, now it's Nikki (gawd help us, as if we need another brat like Nikki).

Struggling to see the point of Ryan. It's Big Brother. If you don't want to do the tasks or play the game go home. His personality's just not that interesting.

Was it on a clip they showed where he was saying 'I didn't sign up for this' when they were discussing lack of food in the kitchen? Yes you did, Ryan; yes you did!

Seems he's struggling to come to terms with how a Ryan that's come out as gay is supposed to act, so he's shifting from one persona to another, based on bits and pieces of other gay friends.

I occasionally see little glimpses of a typical north-western working class bloke in there, a car mechanic, a removal man or whatever. Not that he's ever going end up in that line of work, but perhaps the real Ryan isn't going to emerge until he realises that he doesn't have to put on act to be accepted as a gay man. The "I'm gay but I hate gays" VT was very revealing and Andrew called it when he said that "Ryan just wants to be loved", I guess he needs to start by learning to love himself in the true sense of accepting oneself for who they are, not acting like a massive diva when he clearly isn't one. He's a gay bloke and he's alright.
