Group C: Germany vs Poland - (16/6/16) KO 8pm, ITV1/HD
The game will also be broadcast online at ITV Hub and on BBC Radio 5 Live and talkSPORT.
Poland have only ever recorded one victory over the Germans, that came in qualifying for this tournament. The Poles also struggle to score against their opponents with the Germans keeping 8 clean sheets in their last 12 encounters. The Germans have no such issues with goal-scoring having hit the back of the net in their last 14 matches at major tournaments. |

This should hopefully be a good game, as if Germany are as open at the back as they were in their first game, then Poland have the players with the ability to really punish them.

Extra layer of interest in this match after NI's win. Hopefully an open game with Poland going for it.

Interesting that Szczesny has been dropped in favour of Fabianski.

A pity Mustafi only on the bench after his good showing last match but, Mats is back!

Kinda disappointed that Germany are going without a proper striker again.

Against my better judgement of going against Germany, I keep thinking 2-1 Poland here. Most likely confirming the German win. Quote:

It's an injury rather than form apparently.
I couldn't think of any glaring errors Szczesny made against Northern Ireland, come to mention it. |

Germany, France, Italy, Russia and Wales- these are the best for me. All worthy contenders of that title.

Not sure why they need to use the whole pitch. Easier to use just the Polish half.
