The game will also be broadcast online at ITV Hub and on BBC Radio 5 Live and talkSPORT.

The Irish will be hoping to put their rather abject display against Poland behind them for this game. That defeat ended their 12 match unbeaten run. However, they have yet to beat Ukraine in their 4 previous meetings.

Much like the Irish, Ukraine will most likely have targeted this match as the one to get 3 points. The German defeat is their only one in their last 7 games.

Northern Ireland really need something out of this match, so I hope that they are more of a threat in the attacking third them they were in their first match.

Saying that though, I do think Ukraine will have too much for them, I think a one or two nill scoreline will be the final score.

It'd certainly bring the goal average up.

That would be quite a game.

Better not start with one striker this time.

hope the irish bring their a-game to this one... they were a big disappointment in their opener after such a good qualifying campaign...

Really hoping we can do this. There's been real mixed messages from O'Neill - firstly saying we didn't attack enough, which is true, but today says that it was all down to fine margins and that if Davis had scored we'd be looking very differently at the performance.

Sorry, Michael, but if we had gotten a draw out of that Poland game we would have been the luckiest team in the world. We defended well but offered nothing in attack and I do believe that will be different today.

I just hope we show the rest of the world more what we're about. We scored the most goals in our qualifying group and when the pressure was on we beat Greece 3-1 to qualify. I have no doubts we CAN beat Ukraine, but for the first time in a long time I have doubts that O'Neill is trying to instill that mentality into our players.

I think we will draw 1-1.

Five changes from Michael O'Neill - including dropping Kyle Lafferty.

Seems to be the day of managers making bold decisions.

Some are more proactive, whilst others are more reactive.

4-3-3 for the irish... this could be interesting. it's do or die for them so it's good to see a more positive line-up. just got to translate that on the pitch now...

Just a thought, what if Ukraine meet Russia?

I don't think Russia will qualify from their group but I think Ukraine could.

It's possible that the potential fan clashes between those two would make England vs Russia look like child's play.

1-0 Ukraine.

Good luck Northern Ireland though.

Why do the Ukraine shirts have that strange tartan-esque pattern on them?

More empty seats in the stadium for this match than any other played so far, it seems.

Already a far more positive start by NI, they didn't muster a single shot in the first half against Poland....this is a good sign.

Lyon and it looks like the travelling support is smaller for these two than some other sides
