No choice other than to go for it. A few teams are in the same boat now so hopefully we'll have some open games in this round.

I'd be happy so far if I was a NI fan......this is the Northern Ireland we saw in the qualifiers

Pissing it down there.

Lovely gesture to see them applauding the young lad who died after the Poland game

Decent ball across the box there but never a penalty.

That's him, Darren Rodgers was his name....they applauded him in the 24th minute because he was 24 years old

A blast of "Will Grigg's On Fire" going up from the stands

Chance for Cathcart!

Only just wide on replay.

Unlucky Cathcart. Good attempt.

Can't fault N.I's effort, giving it a real go.

Good attitude from NI so far.....they're up for this (shows that they froze and underperformed against Poland)

They're doing great, they've already had three or four attempts

NI have been the better side and have to be credited for going for it but this has been a pretty poor half.

Ukraine always sound decent on paper but they seem to be involved in a lot of really boring games in tournaments

Northern Irish players just lack the composure to make the right final ball. Can see them getting done 1-0.

Yeah, just need to be a bit more clinical up front. Both sides have their limitations, but N.I have held their own so far.

Not overly impressed with Ukraine, they've done very little so far

They're poor but they had a few moments of serious danger against Germany so I wouldn't take anything for granted.
